We were staying for a short time in Hamilton and decided to have an Asian lunch. We saw Mr Panda and after looking at the fascinating menu we were intrigued.
We walked in and the place was empty. After trying to get hold of the only waitress for ten minutes we finally got a table. We ordered two milk teas, a fresh green apple juice and one lemon tea. Then we ordered some food.
The waitress was quite rude and ignorant and did not really listen to us. After coming to our table 3 times saying we don't have this and that, we were quite frustrated.
We waited 15 minutes and got our drinks. We were very shocked. The fresh apple juice was a clear green drink.(sort of like unset jelly) I tasted this drink and it didn't taste one bit like apple juice. All that was in it was water food colouring and chemicals for flavouring. The milk tea did not taste like milk tea and was just like drinking sugar syrup. And finally the lemon tea was just some cold water with a dab of honey and a pinch of lime.
After being very disappointed with the drinks, the food came a long time later. We ordered spring rolls, chicken, deep fried prawns and pad Thai and again were very disappointed. We started with the prawn Spring rolls. They were hard and very stale. Then we had the spicy chicken, the dish was tiny and the chicken was very chewy and was not nice. Then came the pad Thai. I had one bite and I was disgusted. The noodles were hard and the sauce was extremely sour. The prawns were hard and tasted very old. Finally came the deep fried prawns.
This was the worst of all. The prawns had a disgraceful oder which was old seafood. I had one bite and felt sick.
We went to pay the bill and the waitress was very rude again and said ' would oh give me a minute already!' I looked at the bill and it said 116 dollars! I was shocked!
After dinner my whole family felt very sick and all vomited the next day. We had very bad food poisoning. I tried to eat but every time I ate I felt sick. We couldn't sleep at all!
This is a message to all of you!
