He won the job due to his offer to do that. I got home yesterday and was surprised to see him there and that he was halfway finished with the job. NOTHING was covered, and the smell of bleach was everywhere, including inside my house. My throat burned from it! My herb garden was completely exposed and bathed in these chemicals! All the rest of the gardens were fully exposed as well!!! I am livid he used these chemicals around my food and completely contaminated them! His excuse? He showed me the plastic he got for the job sitting inside his truck. He claims there was no wind so he didn't think he needed it. Said he knocked on my door but I wasn't home, so he thought it was OK to not use the plastic covers. Yet he didn't call or text me to check if I was OK with that. Why??? Because he knew I would not be! I spent an extensive amount of time discussing with him my concern about my garden's safety and about any chemicals getting on them. This is food I grow to eat, and do it so that I have no chemicals touching them. I also made it clear to him that he won the job due to the fact that he was going to cover those plants. He did not use the plastic because he thought he could get away with getting things done faster since I was not at home. He thought he could get away with it and I would never know the difference! DO NOT EVER USE THIS UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST MAN!!! He completely ruined all my organic efforts. And he lied about what he planned to do just to win the job.
