I was at first greeted by the doorman (who was wearing a gentleman's suit), and upon entering I felt as though I had to be on my best behaviour. This attitude seemed to pay off and the service is extremely good; unfortunately I feel if I hadn't acted accordingly, things wouldn't have gone down the same way. They have a large choice of males hair and facial hair accessories in the small first floor room; all displayed very neatly in glass cabinets (although they are pretty pricey for my budget). I found what I was looking for, and was tempted to enquire about either getting my hair cut of have a barber shop shave, but decided against it as it would have been well out of the reach of my pocket. I dare to say that this place is quite snobby, but if you can deal with that then it's pretty interesting to go an have a look round, a perhaps buy a refined gift for a man who appreciated good hair.

I thought that if he was good then his workers would most likely show the same level of quality. I was wrong - so, so very wrong. They were clearly inexperienced and cut my hair terribly. They had no idea how to blend different lengths. It was dreadful. After that I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try this place one more time in hopes of getting the manager to cut it again. I was determined to ask for him to cut my hair, and when I arrived that was what I did. But he then told me that he was going to hand me over to one of the other hairdressers, because he apparently "trains them to be up to standard" (lie!!!). This time a man cut my hair. He didn't even ask what number I wanted for the sides. He did his own thing. He kept moving and brushing my head carelessly and aggressively. It hurt a lot. He didn't even try to converse with me. After this traumatic experience I felt like my head had literally been raped and beaten. I will NOT be going to this dreadful place again. Ever. The manager is good, but he must be a terrible teacher. I am not exaggerating when I say the other hairdressers are truly shite, and it is the managers fault. One out of five stars. Two talented barbers, Mario and Hasan, and they do it cheap. The cut you get here will be as good as any you would spend twice or thrice as much for at a hairdresser. The only downside is the waiting times.
