It was my first visit yesterday, I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to be next to enter their garage (they have 3 drive in bays). I really like the fact I didn't have to leave the comfort of my car. I was greeted by a couple cheerful employees upon driving into the garage, and within no time someone was working under my car, then another filled the oil from above. I don't think I was there more than 20 minutes. Quick and excellent service, I'll definitely go back again. read more

Had a flat tire and after driving on my rim to get to the closet repair shop, ended up at Mr Lube and was given excellent and speedy service ! Yes they trued to upsell a cabin filter and a few other products but if you don't need it just say no thanks .. no pressure sales. Wanted to change my tires and my oil. At the end, they broke 3 bolts because the Mr. Lube guy who installed my winter tires tightened it too much. They gave my car back but there was something rubbing on my brakes... I had to change my brakes. While they were working on my brakes I saw they broke the seal joint and they didn't want to repair it (500$)... The managers were not kind and respectful at all ! Think twice before going out there it may cost you more than expected !!! read more

I'd give less than one star but it won't allow me to do that. I had gone to get my tires changed a few weeks ago. I had asked how many seasons I had left. They had told me one. Last week I went to the dealership for an oil change. They had told me I need new tires that 2 were totally bald and one was on backwards. I went in at 3pm on a Sunday to see where was there a leak in my tire or if it's my rim. They exceeded my expectations in terms of customer experience. They were very polite and kind. They found my leak- it was the rim which they fixed- rebalanced the tire made sure all the tires had enough air. Charged me a really fair price for the hour of work. I will definitely go back anytime I need my car checked. It was a very positive experience. read more

Didn't have time to book with dealer so i went in for a quick and simple oil change .ended up having to change the engine and cabin filter . thing is , when they showed me the filters they were full of dirt and leaves but when i first saw them take them out they were still mostly white and clean . I realized this after i left and was driving away .. They didn't show me the filter that was actually removed from my car ! Watch out for the up-sale! They always try to get you to change other fluids or belts beyond what you came in for. And in my opinion they do so by sketchy means like twisting your drive belt before showing you just how bad it was. They also forgot to put the fan belt plastic shroud back on with all the bolts. Two were missing and I had to find replacements from my local dealer. This could have been destructive and expensive if it got caught in the belt while driving. It should be noted they charged me $129 to install the fan belt. The dealer sells them for $29 so it cost me $100 plus tax for a ten minute install but they forgot to put the bolts back on the plastic shroud. Always ask them if you can look over the work they do before they close the hood and drive off. read more

I can't imagine ANY CIRCUMSTANCES under which I would return to Mr Lube LaSalle location. They installed winter 5W30 oil when I had beforehand specified in writing to install the summer grade 10W30 motor oil. They installed less than 4 liters of oil when my car requires 5 liters and I had indicated in wriitng beforehand this amount. Their invoice falsely stated that they had cleaned my windows, they hadn't. Their invoice falsely stated that they had installed windshiled washer fluid, even specifying the amount they added: they had added NONE. They lied! When I complained online, the following day I received a phone call from the Manager of the Mr Lube Lasalle location to say NO they wouldn't rectify my complaints but YES they were "so sorry". They are over priced and will sell you anything you don't need. Stay very far away. I was in there a few months ago wanting just an oil change, they came to me saying my cabin filter was dirty and for 90$ they would change the 8$ filter...I declined so they proceeded to jam the filter back into the compartment in reverse. It took 20 minutes to remove and clean the compartment. They also tried to sell me an engine flush saying I had humidity in my oil... what a line of crap! Stay very far away... read more

This was a TERRIBLE experience. We went in to change our tires and were told that there was a 1hr wait and that it takes half an hour to change tires. Almost two hours later they started changing our tires which took an hour and it took them almost a half hour to bill us. 80$ + tax to change and balance four tires seems steep. The staff was less than courteous and were obviously related to each other. I've been to this place before an received the level of service that you could expect if your standards are not too high, but it seems as though there was a management change, what a nightmare! My friend had his 2018 Honda CR-V serviced several weeks ago at this Mr. Lube. My friend, his fiance, their baby and I traveled to Connecticut for the weekend and returned on Monday. During the lineup at the Canadian border around 6 pm we smelled oil and sure enough the car was leaking oil very fast. We had no choice but to turn around but 10 feet after the US border the engine turned off. We had to call Honda Roadside assistance and waited 3 hours at the border station for a tow truck to pick it up and bring it to the nearest dealership at Plattsburgh. I had to call my parents to drive from Montreal to come pick us up at the border so we ended up getting home at 2am on Tuesday morning instead of the estimated 7:30 pm. The next day my friend was called from the dealership and told that the oil drain plug was loose (we figured it dropped off considering how fast it was leaking) so he had to drive back to Plattsburgh to pick up his car. Don't go there, it's a bunch of scammers. went there with my mercedes b200 for a synthetic oil and filter change and they charged me an extra $30 because of the oil filter, $145 total. Paid it anyways because i didnt know better. Went back another time with my Grand caravan and this time they charged an extra $10 for the oil filter. $81 for a regular oil change. what a joke, go anywhere else but this place. I have a regular mechanic but I wanted to get a new fuel filter installed on my car without having to make an appointment, so I thought I'd give Mr. Lube a try. It cost me $100 for a 10 minute job which is ridiculous, and was given a very hard sell on a transmission flush, at nearly $300. I know I went to this place but I do actually have a good working knowledge of cars and I can tell you that I was told complete BS about how my transmission was "sweating" and a bunch of other things that don't actually exist. I was pushed very hard to get this done, and was probably asked about 10 times throughout my time there, and how I was making a big mistake not getting it done. I have a hard time believing that since my regular mechanic said the transmission was fine, it shifts fine all the time, and even the owner's manual says there is no need to ever change the fluid. It's just a cash grab; charging $300 for $10 worth of fluid. I would not go back there, and I highly recommend that you do not take your car there either. They'll find a whole list of things that are "wrong" with your car. read more
