He put all the results into an easy to read and reference website with links to movies that contained commentary and demonstrations of what he was talking about. This company should have way more reviews! I rarely write reviews for any company, but I must say that they exceeded my expectations. One of the things that impress me the most was Mike's honesty when I called. He did not try to upsell me on anything and I thought that was refreshing. I called him many times and he answered all my questions with no problem. My inspector was Ian, who was great! He was friendly and communicated with me throughout the whole inspection process. He also answered all my questions even when it was outside the scope of the inspection given me tips along the way. I appreciate him doing his job thoroughly and was on time. Mike is really on top of his game! I used him for my home inspection August 2019 and he taught me so much. He used a fiber optic scope to examine the entire sewer line from the roof vent all the way to the street manhole. He was on time and removed his shoes showing respect for the home. He taught me how to change the furnace filter and how to tell when future replacement is necessary. His Inspection report was well documented with photos and recommendations. We had Ian Christensen come inspect a house we wanted to buy in Colorado Springs, and he did a great job! He was personable and very knowledgeable. He spoke in layman's terms and was honest about issues that we could fix, and which ones he'd recommend a professional for. He was very thorough and took about 2.75 hours to do a 1,500' house. We booked our home inspection with Ian Christiansen on Mrhomecheck's website. It was super easy. He emailed us right away confirming and was accommodating when we needed to reschedule to a later time. He arrived early, was super patient with our million questions, let us follow him into the attic and encouraged us to watch the sewer scope to see the situation for ourselves. Michael has done home inspections for about 10 of my clients now, and I can make no higher recommendation. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. His reports are easy to read. He is on time, friendly, professional and affordable. By the time other inspectors add on the extras (sewer scopes, radon testing, meth testing, trip fees, etc....) the costs can go up by several hundred dollars. Ian was very thorough and I'm happy with his inspection. He discovered some roof hail damage on the home's impact-resistant shingles and recommended getting a roofing company out to make an official determination and certification or recommendation for replacement. The roofing company came out and said there was enough damage to file a claim, so we objected the inspection results to the seller for them to file a claim with their insurance. Mike was absolutly amazing. I called him in to reinspect a property that we already had an inspection done. He found 20 more major things that the first inspector missed including that there was no paint on the wiod on the roof. How the heck did the first inspector miss that an entire wood beam 20 foot in leingth have almost no paint onit... Easy. Mike went on the roof and the ither inspector did not.
