I had in the past used Mooses Plumbing and had a good experience with them, so thought I'd use them again. I called their phone number on Wednesday afternoon, which appeared to be their office. I told them the two issues that I needed repaired, and she said that a plumber would call me later to organize a time to come. The plumber (Wade) called later that afternoon, and I explained that I needed someone to fix the hot water leak, and to determine if there was a leak in the wall, and repair if necessary. He said that would be fine and organised to come to our house on Monday morning at 8 am. Monday came, and went, with no plumber coming by, and no phone call to notify us that they were not coming. Thursday morning, when I was at work, the plumber called and asked if he could come by. I told him that I was at work, and asked him what happened on Monday. He apologized and said they were too busy. He reorganized to come on Monday morning again at 8 am. This time he arrived on Monday at 9 am. He could only fix the hot water leak, and said that he would need to call someone else to do that job. I told him I had requested the services required at the beginning, and that I shouldn't have to pay two separate call out fees, to which his response was "It was always going to be that way". They charged me $203 to fix a hot water leak and now I have to call someone else to detect and fix the possible leak. I am unhappy with their timeliness, and communication skills in keeping their customers informed about the services they provide, and the associated call out fees. I would not recommend Mooses Plumbing.

I dealt with Glen Owen when I was doing my renovation. He is an abusive, foul mouthed man who…read morescreams and bullies his employees which makes it a very difficult environment to work under. When it came to dealing with his customers he is even worse. He screamed at me via a phone conversation for over 36 minutes, because I had repeated some negative information an electrical store had said about the cost of using him. He threatened to sue me and screamed at me while I tried to explain I had only repeated to another trade what was said to me out of concern at what I might be charged. Ironically the other trade was a friend of his, and then told him what had been said .. but had told Glen not to take the comments up with me, but with the electrical store that made the comments. I then told him i would no longer be using him to finish my electrical work and i would like a bill, to make matters worse, when he told me how much I owed him, I asked for a breakdown of the charges via an invoice, he screamed at me "people like me give him the shits" (actual quote). This is after barging into my home uninvited and without knocking. I had a terrible experience with this man ... after finally getting an invoice from his wife, I have also found he has overcharged for labour as well as equipment - so I refused to pay and this matter will be going in front of the courts. I am wanting the court to know about this man's bullyish arrogant behaviour - I think everyone should know what sort of man he is. I would certainly not recommend this vile man to anyone wanting an electrician in the tweed area. I should have listed to the electrical shop !!! They tried to warn me !! It was a nightmare .. and no-one should be abused and threatened like I was. The emotional turmoil and anxiety this has caused has directly affected my health and state of mind.
