Tom and his team did an excellent job clearing out the trees that needed to be removed from an acre…read morelot I recently purchased. Tom was extremely knowledgable and answered all my questions on his visit to inspect my property. His crew that removed the trees was amazing! They did an excellent job, no problems or delays. Some of the trees were on a fairly steep incline. I was also very impressed with how quickly they were able to remove all of them. Shawn, the foreman, was right on top of all the work that needed to be done (he worked as hard as all of them). He was very polite and very professional. I highly recommend Tom and his crew!!

"I think that I shall never see A company as unprofessional…read moreas Tom's Tree..." Jeez, where do I start with these guys? OK, first off, my bad, I stupidly STUPIDLY paid them before they were done. After the first day they had most of the work done and Tom told me they would finish up tomorrow. Then he let me know he wanted to be paid. So, stupid me... Anyways, they did not come back tomorrow. Or the next day. I finally had to call them. They eventually came back and did a half-assed job finishing up. My main issue is that they did considerable damage to my property. They left oil stains in the street along the curb from one end of the property to the other, they put a couple of gouges in the street, they put a substantial crack in my sidewalk and tore up several patches of grass. When i called to have them look at the damage Mr. Tom told me he did a walk-around with me after they were done and everything was OK. We definitely did NOT and he essentially called me a liar (Nice PR there, Mr. Tom!). So he didn't have the decency or the courtesy or the courage to even come out and look at the damage. Plus where they removed the stump looks like crap...the dead tree looked better. I have 2 bits of advice: DO NOT use this guy. But if you do, DO NOT pay him one red cent until the job is done. Once he had my money he was done with me. I'm sure he would not accept this type of unprofessionalism from anyone, he certainly should not give it.

Helping Hands Landscaping - Review…read more I had Helping Hands do some work on my property last year in Magalia and were impressed then--but they've seriously stepped up their game! I am an out-of-state owner so good communication was imperative. He kept me updated on the project and his prices were very competitive. I received before and after pictures so I was assured that the work done met all of the POA requirements. They've upgraded their equipment in a big way, now bringing in one of the largest skid steers on the market with attachments like a mower, grapple, and a powerful masticator/mulcher. It's clear they're invested in doing top-quality, efficient work. Their services have expanded too--they now offer everything from defensible space clearing and stump grinding to weedeating, mowing, heavy brush clearing, and downed tree removal. Having a water trailer on-site is a huge plus, especially for fire safety, and gives extra peace of mind. They're licensed, insured, and committed to doing the job right. If you're looking for professional, heavy-duty landscaping or fire-safe land clearing, Helping Hands is the team to call. Highly recommended! Contact Jon at 323-839-8949 jonathonschaffer80@gmail.com
