Unfortunately I have had to contact the police on behalf of my parents. My dad (who has had a business for 50 years) and is a pensioner did a job for him a couple of years ago has now been subjected to threats for a number of months as well as my 67 year old mother. They are getting over the loss of their son, my brother and they are two genuine people who have both had successful businesses for over 50 years. They are nothing but honest and this conman has taken advantage of their good nature. My father did some work for him a couple of years ago. 12 months after the work was done he demanded further repairs which were nothing to do with my father's work who has repeat customers who have used his services for over 40 years. My father despite not being responsible for the issues completed free work for him not once but twice because he threatened and harassed him and also verbally abused my mum on their home number and threatened to 'end' his business. He had 'contacts' that could deal with this. Given his colourful criminal past my dad had to complete free work for him. He now wants us silenced about this and is contacting my mum and dad, two pensioners who recently lost their son by calling them daily and saying we need to remove our review and his wife is annoyed about it. He has stalked our social media accounts and called my dad to say he knows what my work is and my mums work is and we need to remove this review. He seems to have done some poor research as he has assumed the beauty products range I sell for my mum is my job...but I'm actually a lawyer. As such and unlike Mr Spooner I operate on the correct side of the law and have had to contact the police due to his threats and harassment to my pensioner parents. In all my legal career I have never dealt with a bigger criminal. It's in the police hands now but I am genuinely fearful for my parents and what will happen next. read more
