Very friendly guy and great barber. His motto is once you are in the seat you are family, and he's going to cut your hair like he would a family member. Got his number from a cousin and I'm glad I went! I wanted to change up my hairstyle from a faux hawk to a comb over and he did a perfect job. He also taught me the best way to blow dry and comb my hair. Would highly recommend for sure! read more

Always late. Asked for a refund after he no showed, which I got. Now he's claiming he refunded me twice. Very unprofessional and was threatened over this. Dude has a bad attitude over being wrong Pic attached as proof read more

Mr Dixon's EMT Barbering - He refunded me one time - Barbers Near Me - Chino, California

Excellent service at: 2217 E. 4th St. Ontario, Ca. Prefect gentlemen. Clean shop. Great customer service.

Great haircut and great conversation. I recommend 100%. Prices are $50 a cut though, so come prepared.

Mr. Dixon does not wear a mask while cutting hair. Is not mindful and respectful of others during Covid. Advertisers his business as more important toward forming a relationship than cutting hair. Cut my hair super short. Charged me $48 for no beard trip, wash and no special services. This place is over priced. I asked for a box top and got a complete shave. I showed him pictures. More focused on talking than cutting hair. Not respectful of clients by not wearing a mask. Expressed the importance of no masks more education on immune systems not understanding how evolution and diseases work. Invited me for fellowship and to hang out. Never coming back here again. I won't be wooed over by fancy talk, relationship building advertising, not wearing a mask, disrespectful of clients by not wearing his own mask and inviting me to take my own mask off. He has no sanitizer around, did not ask me if he could video me and just started videoing without permission. As much as y'all enjoy his conversation and relatability, he is not respectful, and is not mindful. I can give a one star because some of what he presented as knowledge is worth one star and was knowledgeable. Despite this, I wouldn't suggest going here and risking your health, when he doesn't even ask if you've been tested, or if anyone indeed Emily has Covid. He doesn't care about Covid and is more focused on talking to you to get those reviews. He is a good salesmen and has a good voice to sell his profession. But, he is anything but that. Nice guy, but that's about it. read more

Mr Dixon is kind, friendly and supportive. His cuts are amazing. Thank you for the Family.

Really nice and professional. Did a great job after one glance at a outlining picture.

This place is not your run of the mill barbershop, it's a full on experience. The shop is very classy with a 1920s theme. The second you walk into this place, you become family. Aside from being extremely talented, Mr. Dixon is the most genuine human you can ever meet. He is very passionate about people and developing a relationship with everyone that walks through the door of his barbershop. If you're looking for a unique experience and an artist who will cater to your specific needs, this is the place to go. I know I won't be going anywhere else to get my hair cut. read more

Walked in expecting nothing more than a haircut. Walked out not only meeting my new barber, but another brother. He cut my hair and took time doing it making sure everything was on point. His razorline ups are the best I've seen in my ten years of living in southern cali. It's not every day you come across a real down to earth person like him and the best part is every customer that comes in was the same to. He knew everyone who walked in by name and made everyone feel at home. My wife is in agreement that hes my only barber from here on out. Do your self a favor and come down to your new barbershop read more

First time I met Mr. Dixon and sat in the chair he made me feel like family. His establishment is very classy and his skills are definitely top notch. The fact is I won't let anyone else cut my hair besides him. read more

God fearing, great guy, great barber, great atmosphere. First things that come to mind. He was friendly the entire time. Emphasized on his customers being family not customers. So you're not going to go in there and feel rushed out. He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. Reminds you of when you would be in your cousins garage watching the game and getting a cut, it's that kind of vibe... That kind of care. It's hard finding a barber that could do black hair in Chino Hills.. This is the guy. And he's excellent at all types of hair. I saw his work and it's obvious this is a passion for him and not a business. All in all I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great cut. Honestly I've paid more for much worse. He's the best I've been to. Go get your cut ASAP read more

I needed a barber in my neighborhood and did some thorough searching of reviews here. I decided to give Mr. Dixon's EMT Barbering a try. I have finished my second visit and feel my search is over. The low lit atmosphere is very relaxing with equally relaxing jazz music filling the room. The furniture and pictures on the walls take you back in time. I also love the appointment system you can fit into your personal schedule. Craig is very personable and professional. He worked wonders with my cut and I received many compliments from coworkers and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

In one word....awesome. Craig was able to accommodate a same day appointment for a new client, and blew us away with his character, professionalism, and talent. I took my son to get his hair cut and now we have finally found a barber we can continue to go to. We made the appointmemt online, we were seen on time and Mr. Dixon did a great job. You get VIP treatment. The environment was mellow, relaxing and believe it or not Mr. Dixon dropped some knowledge on us.....we learned a few things about OUR history that I didn't know in just the short amount of time that we were there. I value a place where my son can get his hair cut and not hear/see some of the things you usually hear/see in a barber shop. This is not your average barber shop and we will definitely be returning. read more

AS GOOD AS IT GETS Not only did I receive one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten at a barber shop, but the man in charge is also one of the most positive, vibrant people I've ever met. Immediately upon entering I was treated like family. He gave me a haircut that he would give to a loved family member. We talked about life and the beauty of it and continued the amazing conversation all around. I never once felt rushed to leave, I was given all his attention to making me look great. This is a barbershop I'm glad I found and will continue to be a repeat customer. Craig keeps it real but keeps it humble. I already cant wait to go get another cut from him. What an amazing experience!! We just moved to the area from D.C. where my son had the same barber for 16 years! He was worried that he wouldn't find a good one here especially since we are not in the heart of L.A. Boy was he wrong! We didn't find a barber that was as good as his long time barber we found one that is so much BETTER!! The atmosphere at Mr. Dixon's is like no other barbershop we've ever been to. We immediately felt at home with Mr. Dixon and he truly made us feel like family. The decor is so dope!! I can't even describe it. You have to see it for yourself to understand! And the conversation was so enriching and down to earth. And now let's talk about this haircut. He is a magician with the clippers AND he did something I've never seen with a straight edge razor....simply beautiful work! The result was a smooth shape up that was the best my son has ever had in 18 years!! My son can't stop looking at himself because he's so in love with his haircut! I'm so happy we found the best barber in the world and he's only 5 minutes away! His attention to detail and dedication to making his clients happy is top notch! I've never been so pleased! A true professional with amazing talent that is dedicated to exceeding your expectations and excels at customer service!! Definitely looking forward to taking my son in for his next cut in 2 weeks! read more
