Food marked with pikant (spicy) and scharf (hot) should be ordered with care, because it can be very hot indeed. Most of the main courses are accompanied by different vegetables which aren't meantioned in the menu, and a sufficient amount of rice. Unlike other asian restaurants the vegetables aren't overcooked, and the meal itself isn't overspiced or full of fat. In my opinion one of the best restaurants Darmstadt has to offer.

I had the stir fried noodles with beef and they were very tasty and the noodles were cooked just right, not too soggy. I also had the Vietnamese Spring rolls. They were good, however the only negative comment was they weren't quite warm enough in the middle. They are clearly frozen ahead of time (not a problem for me, I used to eat Lumpia that way all that time) and could stand perhaps a bit more time in the oil. They are not greasy at all and very tasty. All in all it is a good place for take out or dine in. I will certainly be back, likely on this trip and certainly if work brings me to Sindlingen again.
