This shop has an odd layout. The waiting area is a different room from the barber chairs. You can…read moresee from one to the other, but would not be able to carry on a conversation between the two rooms. There was also no coat rack in either room. It is not unusual for sports to be on TV in a barber shop, and even though I'm not a big sports fan, I have never been bothered by a barber shop TV before this visit. What was on the TV was not sports, but two obnoxious people talking about sports with loud banging music in the background. Even this I could have ignored if it were not for the fact that the volume was so loud that I could barely hear what was coming through my cell phone ear buds that were set to maximum volume. I will not go to a barber shop where both my mind and ear drums are assaulted by an environment where the owner has no concern for his clients. There was one other odd thing of note. I am not a young person, which means I've had many decades of hair cuts in my life. This was the very first one where the barber did not shave the back of my neck. It really didn't matter much to me, but you should be aware of this before going there.
