I think they are the best lawyers I have spoken with in the past year or two. I think I would probably put the whole firm on retainer for a plethora of reasons if. I had my druthers. I recommend at least getting a consultation with them. If I ever do get an opportunity to work with them I will follow up with that as well. Five stars for a good first impression.

The claim was initially denied, as is the case in the majority of claims filed, and a court date was set. It was then I called Bens office and he was able to successfully obtain a rather generous award after a short period of time. While working with him on my claim I came to realize that he possesses a wealth of knowledge about the workers compensation system and always had an answer to any questions or concerns I had. Ben is still diligently working on getting me a lifetime award through another type of claim he filed on my behalf because of the accumulation of injuries I sustained over my 30 plus years with my employer. Unlike the negative reviews that are out there, I can't imagine nor did I ever experience Ben not following up with me after I contacted him or him giving any type of bad advice. I would not give any weight to what was written that is not positive about him. Some people are just unhappy no matter what transpires. I actually referred a co-worker to him and Ben has handled his case successfully and with great results also. If you or any one you know has been injured in connection with their place for employment I would not hesitate to contact Ben Helfman for representation.

Of course after I was in jail and had already paid. With also having to bail myself out of jail twice, On the same case. And no prior criminal history at all. I Was being charged with a felony dui, due to the person I got in a fender with claiming she was hurt. He did no investigating and collected no information against the person who claimed they were injured. Eventhough I told him she attended a rock concert and it was all over online, 3 days after this fender bender occurred. Then she claimed to be seriously injured. I, MYSELF, went on social media and did MY OWN investigation to find out her claims were false and print out all the information and proof I could find to bring to court with me. I honestly couldn't believe I had to present those to him, instead of him doing his job and finding that information out. Or maybe getting me out of jail for the second time I was booked. He was 30 mins late to my court date too, to top it off. He had literally no clue what was going on the entire time and had to "speak to other attorneys with more experience handling dui cases". Just all around did absolutely nothing for me in the case and didn't even offer maybe to return half my money for him failing to really do anything at all but make me look stupid. I did more than he did and that's not why I hired him. That's very unfair and to charge someone for services you know you failed at, or were still learning and failed to help. In that case, just admit that. I Very very very highly recommend you DO NOT hire him. If he maybe reached out to make it right, I'd probably have better feelings about him as a person in general. As of now I feel he robbed me of $10,000 and honestly if anything caused me more hassle and somehow couldn't keep me from being placed in custody a second time on a dui charge! All in all, in the end thanks to my research, proving the lady lied and proving that I was not in fact guilty of what I was accused of (no thanks to him at all). I was able to get it finally figured out 2 bail bonds later. And a wholesome of workdays, probation and other little things. In reality, I wish I would've just represented myself. I mean I pretty much did anyways.

Max's son, Barrick, is the one who assisted me and his concern for our family's well being and his motivation to make us whole again was clear from the very beginning. I called several law offices and told them our tragic story, and Barrick was by far the most genuine and caring lawyer. He was quick to discuss the technical and legal matters that could impede the case, and he (along with his assistant, Misty), immediately started working on a plan for us. I felt like Barrick really went the extra mile for us. In the end, we didn't have enough evidence to put the case together for wrongful death, but Barrick made sure we understood why and what we could do next. He is a true professional and works hard for people. I would recommend Barrick and the Max G Arnold law office in Redding, CA if you need legal help. They are very thorough and will really stick with you to the end, even if you don't go to trial.

Most of them strike me as cutthroat, distant,…read morenarcissistic sharks who think studying the law entitles them to an arrogance the size of their law school debts. Throw in the fact I'm from a pretty economically challenged background and most attorneys waste more money on booze in a month than I make in ten years, it is really difficult to must a lot of respect for them. When someone close to me retained these law offices for their personal injury suit, I had no illusions that things would be different. However, I would soon eat my words. Whereas I believed that Max and his associate attorneys would be the epitome of privilege, they were anything but. Max set my loved one on an immediately treatment plan and there were weekly calls from his secretarial staff, asking how things were going and how the pain was. Even better, despite the poor credit, he was able to negotiate liens with all of the medical providers, so the treatment professionals weren't constantly hounding them for payment. When the case was finally litigated successfully, it was all thanks to the hard work of Max. I can't say enough positive things about his extremely professional staff, his in-depth understanding of the law and ultimately his total dedication to my loved one. I was initially apprehensive, because there really isn't a lot on the Internet about this guy, but his picture is on the back of the phone book. I don't know what that costs, but I don't imagine that it's particularly cheap, so eventually we reasoned he must have some kind of success to draw on. Since Yelp is our generation's word-of-mouth, I thought I'd hop on here and give Max some free publicity. If you want a decent attorney who will make sure to put their needs ahead of yours, pick any random name for a Rolodex and hope you don't drown in attorney's fees. But if you want the best and most fair attorney in the Bay Area who will put your needs first, I cannot stress this enough: call Max.
