I must have sent him over 20 different videos from different videographers, and Terrence's work was the ONLY one he approved of. So I sent an inquiry and began our journey with Terrence and Suzi. They are 100% the BEST in the biz. The communication was always prompt. They had a variety of "experiences" to choose from that allowed us to choose a service that worked with our budget, and they had great add-on options. We went with drone footage, which I highly recommend to anyone getting married. We did an initial Facetime consultation, and then we also had an in-person meeting with Terrence closer to our wedding date. I felt like the entire experience was intimate and personal, and we could feel really confident about who we were working with prior to the big day. On our wedding day, Terrence and Suzi worked seamlessly with our photographer to capture our special day through each medium without getting in each other's way. They were so fun and positive and just all-around true professionals, and you could see how this husband and wife duo just perfectly complemented each other-- the perfect team! When we received our teaser film, I was ecstatic! It came out so well-- they're truly masters of video editing. But then our full-length video came out, and I was a wreck in the best way. It was so creatively pieced together-- they used my dad's speech as the backbone and so thoughtfully incorporated all of the details from our incredible evening to produce a heartfelt, cinematic masterpiece that reflects who we are and all of the love and warmth we experienced that day. David was basically an angel on our wedding day. As one might expect, weddings are not something we deal with every day and are a highly stressful moment and he was always a step ahead with a solution to a problem or a suggestion to improve the big day. I can't express how important a video of our wedding day was for me. We had put it on the…read moreback-burner for budget reasons, but as a professional wedding planner I know how quickly the day flies by - I wanted to savor every moment! We wrote our own vows, so that was my biggest area of concern (and I was right - I didn't remember anything he said because I was SO EXCITED to be there!) After finding Mike and expressing to him our budgetary concerns (and the fact that my fiance wasn't 100% sold on the idea of a video) he was very friendly and patient. He gave me a quote, but also gave me time to think about it. When we finally booked, he only took 10% of the cost as a deposit (low compared to other vendors I booked/have worked with in the past) which was a really appreciated. As we got closer to the day, he asked to meet for a one-on-one meeting to go over exactly what we wanted. He was very personable and easy to get along with - he put my fiance at ease about the video and listened to everything we asked for. On the day of the event, he was like a ghost (in a good way). I rarely saw him or his second shooter, but he managed to capture every moment perfectly. He gave us an accurate expectation of when we would have the video after the wedding, but was also polite/friendly when my mom and I emailed/text him to ask when it would be ready leading up to it. When we did get the video, my husband and I were so happy I can't even put it into words! He did EXACTLY what I asked for - I had a very specific style I was looking for and he nailed it. I was pressed for time to book but her schedule was extremely flexible and her prices were comparable if not better than other photographers I called. Once I suggested the outside photo option (vs in the studio), Etti suggested a few places where we could take the photos which I appreciated since I had no clue on where to go and my son had no preference. Before the shoot she even offered tips on what clothes would photograph well. I paid 1/2 upfront once I signed the contract and the balance on the day of the shoot. The day of, Etti was prompt and was ready to give my son lots of different posing options and tips. It really was easy and fun for us and I couldntve picked a better photographer. I think the best part for me was how fast we got the proofs back to pick from online (shoot on Fri and I received an email on Monday with the photos to pick from).
