We ended up grabbing wings to kill some time in hopes we'd be able to grab an Uber/Lyft an hour or two later but there was still a long wait with some huge surge pricing. We decided to take the bus towards the Superdome and then transfer to the Kenner. Honestly not that bad! We hopped on a bus and asked the bus driver which bus we should take and he mentioned it was the next one up. We waited and the bus arrived, we hopped on to confirm and it was a straight ride from Tulane back downtown to one of the major transfer points. We hopped off, walked up a little and waited for the next bus. That bus took us really close to hotel and we ended up walking back over. It was pretty painless, the bus drivers were super friendly. I think all in all it was about an hour and a little of our time which was about the wait alone for the next ride share to get to us. Would do again

We came for a 1-day tour to NOLA's French quarter. Being older, we wanted to be able to limit walking. Parking down in the French quarter is available if reserved before or if one arrives early. But it would have been a nightmare due to lots of street construction not to mention the price. We read to park for FREE around the city park & use the street car directly to French Quarter. What a treat! Easy parking at the park. Beautiful park with nearby facilities. Very nice RTA employees. All day Jazzy Pass for 2 (1 senior) = $4! People watching on the ride. Timely connections. Still walked a lot & seen much. Only regret we had no time left to check out the park & museum and so e other areas. Unique & safe experience.

There is an open paid parking lot right next door. I paid $20 for full day parking. Since I purchased my tickets online, there was nothing I needed to do. There is plenty of seating available. Once it was time to board, the attendant told us how to line up. The seats were roomy and comfortable. After we got seated, the train attendant came by to check our tickets. The ride was nice and smooth. I chose coach seating and really didn't see a big difference with business class. They were just able to board first and had better access to the on board cafe. We visited the cafe to purchase coffee, juice, and muffins. We were also able to bring our own snacks. Once in Mobile we had just over 4 hours to site see. The only negative was the Depot in Mobile was outside. We had to wait in the cold before we were allowed to board around 4:10pm. I wish they had an indoor bldg or would've allowed us to board earlier since it was cold.

We ended up not needing the bus service later in the evening and they would not refund us, which it's completely understandable. However, with the amount we paid for that time block, we expected to be the only group he had for that day he seemed to have booked another ride and was not able to come pick us up for almost two hours when we asked him to come get us at 330PM!!!!! If i'm renting a bus service for 14 hours and then only have to use 8 of those hours, do you think a business would be happy to provide the correct service in the smaller window. Instead, he made a group of 30 people wait in a parking lot for over an hour and a half, nearly two hours for him. Because of this, we had to miss a dinner reservation. With a party of this size, it was a very large deposit that we could not get back. If there was a 0 star option, I would leave that here.
