This bingo is the best in the upstate. Hands down. They pay the best and have the best food around.

I was looking forward to playing bingo that night. I noticed that a place was not saved for a couple that frequent Bingo and thought it would be nice to save them seats. In the interim, my daughter called very upset because she recently lost her husband and was crying on the phone. Not knowing that you are not supposed to save seats; I was confronted by one of the Bingo people while I was on the phone trying to comfort my daughter that there were no saving seats. The mother/daughter regulars wanted their seats. I was not able to respond because I was focusing on trying to comfort my daughter. I was confronted again by a Bingo person and said I was not allowed to save seats and proceeded to remove my daubers while I was on the phone. The mother and daughter proceeded to their seats. When I got off the phone, I tried to explain to the daughter; why I was on the phone. She was rude and ignored me. This is very upsetting to me as I was not treated with no respect by the Bingo person as well as the patrons. Would I have been treated differently if I was a regular? The whole situation has affected my sleep and bothers me still for something I did no wrong.

The machine you have to tap the number called and then the machine dabs the numbers. I think the machine had over 100 cards. The paper cards are a 9 pack. They play a lot of games that has eight different ways to win. And they don't call slow. Between trying to dab my cards and hit the number on the machine I had no real time to look at my cards to see if I was even waiting. Ugh. Lol. They also play speedball rounds. And holy cow it is fast. The machine has some special games included. But they play A LOT of specials that you have to buy the paper cards. They sell for either $1 or $2 each. They give you a sheet showing the games you will be playing as far as the regular games. Doors open at 11am on the Saturday I played. At noon they started playing but NOT the regular games. The regular games don't start till 2pm. But they play specials for the 2 hours. Then the regular games start. There is an intermission listed on the paper they gave me, however, they continue to play special games throughout it. In fact I had to ask a worker when was intermission? He said right now. No one got up they just continued to play games. If it wasn't for my machine I'm not sure I would have known when to start playing my cards for the regular games. Lol. I have played bingo for over 20 years in AZ where they have machines. The machines basically play themselves. You don't have to touch the machine. It knows the numbers being called so I just have to watch and play my cards. When I left my head was still spinning an hour later. Lol I will probably go again but only play the machine OR the paper. Not both. Unless a few specials. I asked a worker about the machine not knowing the number when it is called. He said it was state directed. So just want people to be aware if your first time coming here. I will go again but not for a while. LOL.

I spoke up about things that were clearly wrong, and instead of listening, they told me not to come back. That alone says everything about how this place is run. The environment felt unfair, the attitude from staff was unbelievable, and the manager, Bandy, was the worst part of it. Unprofessional, rude, and completely dismissive -- it was like customer service didn't exist. I left feeling disrespected and shocked that a business could treat people this way. If you value fairness, respect, or even basic professionalism, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

This not your mama's bingo! You don't just buy some bingo sheets (the correct term is "flimsies")…read moreand a dauber and get to stamping. This place is a well oiled machine that has a bit of a learning curve. I played bingo one time with my mom WAY back in the day so I called to get some more info about Mr. Bingo. The outgoing message was super confusing for a novice like me so I knew I'd need to talk to a real person. I got a real person on the phone a couple of days later and the info she gave me still sounded like a foreign language, but I asked a lot of questions and she explained everything. Here's what you need to know if you are interested in going: The big games (program) start at 8:30pm but you can get there early and get a discount on your electronic game boards. (Yes, bingo is electronic! Apparently it's easier to play that way and you are more likely to win.) You can take food in with you if you want and they have fun little $1 games that you can play on paper before the program starts. You can also roll in around 8pm and just buy a flimsy pack for about $8. The program includes 8 games. Most prizes were $300 but the big game that night was $1500. You also have to buy a $1 membership the first time you go but that includes a dauber so it's totally worth it. We finished up our games about 11pm. They do have a concession stand that seems to be pretty reasonably priced. Sodas are $1, snacks are about $3-$6. The first Saturday of each month is actually pretty cheap if you get there before 7pm... I think it was 7. Only $6! My only complaint is that you have to register/checkin in the very large smoking section. The snack area and the bathrooms are also in that area too. The non smoking section is much better but not exactly smoke free. I'm glad they have a smoke free section though. I don't think I'd go back if they didn't have it. That said... While the learning curve was a bit steep (we were total nerds and had to google what somethings meant) and we didn't win one thing - we still had a great time! We are already planning to pick up some dinner and head back on the first Saturday of March. It's a fun way to spend a night out.

Not the greatest experience. To top it off, I guess the owners either believe that it's located in…read moresuch a dangerous neighborhood that they choose to pay a security guard / cop to park outside the front door, or they believe that their customers are dangerous enough to warrant that level of added security. Knowing that, added to the run down look of the building, just made me feel a bit on edge, like I was in danger. Additionally, It was much too loud for me to even focus. I couldn't enjoy myself as I felt like there was a bar brawl going on near me. Also, it was very smoky. Perhaps I just went on the wrong evening, but I think I experienced enough to know that I won't be going back. The facilities and patrons of Cayce Bingo are much more my style. As far as I can tell these are the only two local bingo halls (within a reasonable distance). I only recently moved to the area so perhaps I'll find out about alternatives, but for now, Cayce Bingo definitely has my business.
