The repairman was here for 10 minutes, concluded it is a plumbing problem and NOT an appliance problem. I was charged $135.00 for no work at all. Would not recommend them. No senior discounts. That $135 came out of my social security. read more

Today was my second time having this company service an appliance and once again was completely satisfied with everything. I made an appointment online and was able to communicate with an office member to request a cancelation appt if one became available. I was given a time window and notified when Ryan was on his way, they also provided a photo of the technician. Ryan was wonderful and diagnosed the issue with my refrigerator quickly. I was given a quote for the part and total cost before he started the work. He was so pleasant, efficient and cleaned up all around the work area in addition to cleaning all the coils on the back. I will always call them with all my appliance repairs, hopefully I won't need anymore. They are fairly priced, efficient and very friendly. read more

Pros: The guy they sent out to install my washer/dryer combo was friendly and professional and did his job well. Also, they were able to schedule for the next business day which was appreciated. Cons: They are pricey ($260ish). The person I spoke with on the phone to arrange for the install gave me bad information (said 2 techs would come out and that they'd bring the cords and hoses with them) and also did not relay my needs to the installer (which is why he showed up without any cords or hoses). Because only 1 tech showed up, I had to help with some heavy lifting. I would hire them again but would probably try to give a mom-n-pop/father-son operation a shot first. read more

After purchasing my appliances from a local merchant I discovered that they didn't place as great a priority on installation as they did actually selling the product. They said it would be nearly 2 weeks after delivery before they could install. I went on the internet and called Mr Appliance late this morning to schedule an installation. Was delighted to learn that they could be at my home in Jefferson County within 2 hours. Mike Maxey arrived at the promised time and had my over the range microwave installed and operating within an hour. Both Mike and the office staff were very professional, courteous and thorough. Not satisfied at all. Service tech was disrespectful. Ended up not using the service, call the Frigidaire recommended company and they fixed the problem for half the price. Either the technician was not trained properly or they were ripping us off. Either of which is unacceptable. Stay away from these folks. read more

I requested a diagnostic for a dryer that was not working. The technician reported that the dryer needed a new timer and that would cost $500. The cost for doing that repair is normally between $130-$270 so I got a quote from another vendor. The other vendor said that the timer was not the issue and that it was actually another part that needed to be repaired. The other vendor installed the replacement part for $175. I would have overpaid for the wrong part and not fixed the issue if I had use Mr. Appliance. The company then proceeded to harass me about about paying the diagnostic fee even though the information was complete wrong. Terrible service. read more

Great service today on our malfunctioning refrigerator. Technicians arrived on time and they were very knowledgeable and professional. Mr. Bass kept us informed via email and text about arrival time and sent photos of the technicians. They even wore shoe covers to make sure they didn't track dirt on our floors. After running the diagnostics, they explained the problem and then provided us with the estimate first and then got our approval on the spot. The service fee was waived and we received an additional discount! Also advised us about double-checking the food in the fridge since the the temperature was on the border for food safety storage. Best to watch what we eat! We have to throw out a lot of what was in the fridge but thankfully, we have another fridge where we were able to store most of the perishable items! Our wonderful realtor, Tim Kelly referred them and we were very pleased with their work! read more

I am so impressed with the service I received yesterday from the Mr Appliance repairmen. They called to confirm they were on their way and showed up on time. They took special care to preserve my laundry closet doors, wall, and floor as they set about the work of cleaning out my dryer exhaust line in a very tight space. Unexpectedly, they had to go under my house to replace the dryer duct work, which took much longer than anticipated. Even with this extra time and parts, I was only charged for what I was originally quoted for the work. It is good to feel confident that the repairs were done correctly by knowledgable professionals who don't cut corners! The next time I need appliance repairs, there's no question who I will call.
