GH Appliance Repair was selected by the home seller--not by me--to fix a leaking dishwasher as part…read moreof the real estate contract. The repair was completed in early September, but within three weeks the dishwasher was still leaking at the final walk‑through. They were contacted again on September 16 under their labor warranty. GH Appliance Repair came out on September 17 and claimed the leak was fixed. After closing on September 18, I inspected the appliance myself and found the dishwasher was still leaking exactly as before. I reached out once more on September 24 to have the issue corrected under their labor warranty. At that point, the company told me that because I was now the "new owner," they would not honor the warranty--even though the original repair was never successful. The dishwasher was never fixed, the issue persisted through multiple visits, and the company refused to stand behind their own work. I cannot recommend GH Appliance Repair based on this experience.

We didn't get any heads up of when the technicians were going to arrive and it's especially rude during times of COVID because we can't really eat while they're here. Thankfully, the two technicians were able to fix our washer by replacing a part for a relatively low cost. However, weeks later the entire transmission broken. We hired someone from another company to take a look and they basically said the part that was replaced was utterly useless and we had to replace the entire washer. We trusted the new technician because he didn't even charge us a fee to take a look at the issue and we didn't buy the washer from his company.

Cliff was the service man…read morethat called me after being scheduled through the Lowe's Protection Plan we purchased when we bought our refrigerator. From the initial phone call from Cliff, I was uncertain if he was going to make it. Because there was a discussion about the window time and traveling time to meet him between 12:00-3:00. Told him my husband worked an hour away from home, that he would call him when he left work. On the scheduled day, as promised, my husband called when he left work. No response from Cliff. After waiting a couple of hours my husband called back couple more times again no response from Cliff. On my way home, after 3:00, Cliff called to inform me he was in route. I told him my husband was already there waiting for him. When Cliff arrived in a dark blue uniform with no ID on uniform, he came in to evaluate the refrigerator issue, and maybe spent 15 minutes at the most. As he was departing, he stated he was going to have to order the part that needed to be repaired. I requested that he return phone calls next time somebody calls him so that we know he's actually coming. He stated if we don't like his service we can call somebody else. When my husband got out of the shower, he called Cliff to also inform him that the temperature information was not displaying anymore since the water leak. Cliff's reply was it's not supposed to. So my husband proceeded to tell him that it did before the water leak. Cliff's response was if you don't like my service call someone else. This has to be the worst repair service I've ever encountered. Do not use cliff from Preferred Appliance Repair offered through Lowe's Protection Plan.
