Unprofessional! I've wasted a month dealing with them. They had someone come and inspect the washing machine. The "qualified expert" gave us his charging fee and advised us to repair it. We did the initial payment and waited for the parts to arrived. Three weeks passed and we contacted them to know what was the delay. They canceled the service even when we confirmed by text. Then again, supposedly they reorder the parts and failed to show up. Now, it's being told the washing machine is too expensive and laborious to work. What a joke! Qualified clowns. read more

My wife and I recently moved to the West area of El Paso. So far I've dealt with many service companies in attempt to fix various items in regards to appliances. When Carlos first came out to assess issues with our dryer, he very quickly assessed the problem, ordered the part and returned within a few days to complete the job. Because I liked Carlos', knowledge, professionalism, and clean work ethic, I told him I was going to request permission from my Home Warranty co to schedule Mr Appliance to assess issues with our Thermador microwave, and I was requesting only Carlos to be sent. I very easily was granted authorization because none of the techs sent out previously had the experience that Carlos had. He single handedly disassembled the oven unit, that others had hesitated to tackle. Carlos promptly assessed the issue, ordered the parts and today came over, installed the parts and now we have a functional microwave. Yeah!! I can not appreciate enough this gentleman's professionalism, expertise, courteousness and attention to detail. When he drives up, he wipes his feet, lays a pad on the floor where he lays his tools and item he's working on etc. That's very much appreciated. I'll tell you one thing, next time I need service on anything, I'm calling Mr Appliance and requesting Carlos; should he not be available, I'll wait. How refreshing to call a business and have them answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner. I contacted Mr. Appliance on the listed phone number. The young lady who answered asked for my address and explained that Mr. Appliance/Horizon City was responsible for my area. She promptly gave me their number and said if I needed anything else to contact her again. I dialed the Horizon number and again was pleasantly rewarded by speaking to a young man who asked me the reason for my call, explained the process and made an appointment for me for that same day in the afternoon. I received a call from the tech at the appointed time. His text message showed a photo of whom I was to expect. For me, this is huge. I never answer my door unless I know who is ringing. The technician came in, assessed my problem and went to work. Twenty minutes later he was done. I had put the water filter in my fridge incorrectly, causing my water to not dispense. He showed me how to put the filter in correctly and only charged me for the service call. I highly recommend Mr. Appliance for any/and all your appliance needs. read more

The technician came out on time and quoted me $530 to fix my washing machine I could not afford it and was charged $107 for the visit. I called a different service the next day and they came out and fixed it with new parts in 20 minutes for $200 read more

My refrigerator went out just before a three day holiday and I called Mr Appliance for an unscheduled appointment. Was at my house within two hours and diagnosed the issue, got my fridge working long enough for me to have time purchase a new one. Didn't rose color it, gave me facts and was honest about how fixing it would cost the same as buying a new one. Would use them any time. read more

The repairman came the next day and within the time window to assess my oven and dishwasher. The issues were minor service items, in which he charged over $240. He charged two fees for each appliance to just come out to make an assessment. You would think only one fee should be charged for coming out to assess two appliances. I called when our refrigerator stopped cooling, turns out the compressor went out. They helped to verify the parts were still under manufacturer's warranty so all I had to pay was for labor costs, saved me a ton. No other repair service I ever used previously went that far.
