The girls at the desk were so friendly! The office is very updated and it's not an unfriendly environment. Highly recommend !!!!

Seems like the staff was just getting settled. 2 people walked in after me and were seen before me. I filled out 6 sheets of paperwork too. Finally after 36 mins I was called back, but only to be asked a bunch of questions I already answered on the extensive paperwork. After another almost 10 mins the doctor comes in. He literally took a long Q-tip opened my son's mouth looked for maybe 10 seconds and he was done. I told him my concerns (even though he didn't ask) but he brushed it off and said bye. So all that for 2 minutes of his time. I won't be back. I gave 2 stars because the staff was nice and polite.

The hygienist then made me aware that the first visit does not include the cleaning or dentist assessment and need to schedule revisit .Let me be very clear I was there almost 3 hours that first day. I also was not told this would require another appt by said scheduler or I may have chosen another practice. I Returned for my cleaning (which was very good ) and again the Dr was too busy to see me. At this point I was told I'd need a 3 rd appt for her to finish my initial visit . You can't make this stuff up. The Dr did call and gaslight my moment followed by an apology which faded to the wayside quickly. Beware they also billed my credit card 75 dollars 2 months prior to my appt which btw was for and if Appt was missed They did apply the credit but who does that. I did tell the dentist maybe I should have billed her 75 dollars for her no show. They should consider our time is just as valuable and be clear what to expect OR NOT !!

Dr. Young was very well practiced, but I felt he often went overboard, left me in pain, and was constantly saying that his work needed to be redone. Not really a cost effective solution at all. Dr. Chris Wright was the exact opposite and after years of being terrified to go to a dentist, I had a thoroughly enjoyable (never thought I'd use that word about a dentist visit) experience. 1) He was very open and transparent with me about what options I had for treatment. We discussed everything from start to finish and decided on a plan of action together. 2) He was gentle. Novocaine was administered gently and I even fell asleep mid-root canal. I woke up and left feeling great instead of with an aching face, jaw, and mouth for the rest of the day. 3) Cost effectiveness was very high. The solution he recommended didn't break my bank and he isn't asking to redo the work in a year or two. Can't thank him enough for a job well done. I live all the way in Hoboken and still wouldn't go anywhere else.

You have to endure loud music and the television on the same volume at all times while waiting for hours in the waiting room. My real problem began when I got an infection under my crown on a molar. I came in months earlier with a painful infection and he said, he couldn't help me, that I would need an oral surgeon. COVID hit and infection went away. Months later I was told after a cleaning that my tooth needs to come out because its infected underneath, it's making me sick, and it can also cause long term health issues. All of a sudden he is qualified to remove my tooth. Even though he walked away from me months before (while I was in excruciating pain) telling me, he couldn't help me at all. Meanwhile I was told I needed an extraction that he suddenly can do, and an implant which would cost $3000 . I agreed and then shortly after, the office calls me and tells me the doctor wants to do two implants for one tooth that would cost $4600. Couldn't tell me why. I said I couldn't afford to commit to the two implants. (Because I don't have $5000 laying around) And two implants for one tooth didn't seem reasonable. But the office did say they would extract the tooth for me. It would cost $176 out of pocket. I agreed, and showed up today and then I was informed I needed to pay approximately $300 because my insurance wont cover a graph. I said "a graph, I didn't know anything about a graph". I was told, it's something to get the tooth ready for an implant. Then I stated, I don't know when or where I would get the implant done. "Maybe I could get it at a dental school" (it was off the cuff and something I probably wouldn't do). She said it was necessary and then I asked if I could pay half now. She went back to Dr. P and he said if I don't commit to having all of the work done there, then he's not touching my tooth. So basically he knows that this tooth is making me sick. But if I don't commit to a $5000 bill for work on "one" tooth, he would make me live in pain until I find another dentist in my rural area. It literally felt like I was being extorted. It seems this dentist says and does things depending on his mood. Last year I was told I need two fillings and I didn't get them done because of COVID. When I asked about the fillings last month, after my cleaning, I had no cavities to speak of. Something is very wrong with this dentist and the way he treats his patients. So go at your own risk. But I would recommend getting a second opinion if something doesn't seem normal. When I get one, I will follow up.
