But a platter with a variety of just a few cheeses for me is so much luxury that I don't even need any wine or other fancy drinks to accompany the cheese. Holandsky Kluk offers so many different varieties that I was pretty overwhelmed the first time I entered the tiny store. Luckily all the sales reps at the story are very friendly and willing to let you taste whatever you are interested in. The "Old Amsterdam" (50czk for 100g if I remember correctly) is my absolute favorite. Make sure to check matured Gouda and some of the goat cheeses as well. That store must be heaven for cheese lovers, I guess. What it lacks in size (the store basically consists of a door, a little bit of space to stand and look around and A LOT of cheese) it more than makes up in the variety and overall service level. Their recommendation was spot on. We were very happy with our choices, the counter service, and how relatively little we paid for it all. As with many other places in these parts, cash is king.
