On the day of our engagement session, it started raining. Rob not only met us early but also listened to what we wanted for our photos, which was to capture the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley during sunset. He changed the location to try to avoid the rain (which we did!) and decided we should leave earlier to try to get some photos in case it started raining out there. Well, it never rained and as it cleared, we thought there still might be a great sunset. Rob drove us all around skyline drive and spent extra time with us at no charge because he knew I really wanted sunset photos. We ended up experiencing something extraordinary as the sun turned bright pink as it set. He truly went above and beyond that day but we realized that he always does that. Rob is also one of the happiest people you have ever met which makes working with him extremely pleasant and fun. On the day of the wedding, Rob would do anything for the perfect shot including laying on the floor at the reception (which many wedding guests commented on how incredible he was because they had never seen a wedding photographer do that before!). We love our wedding pictures as both he and his assistant captured so many amazing moments during the day! They are so beautiful and we are so happy we had the chance to work with him on our wedding day.
