THIS COMPANY IS NOT RELIABLE AND THEY COMMUNICATE POORLY! I would recommend not using this company! No one ever came out to look at the job and they just assumed they could do it with only 2 movers. Also, they agreed to provide a truck months ahead of time. 2 hours before the day/time of the move they asked me if I could get a moving truck. So I flexed and got one. Then, the movers showed up late and then they left after only moving a few things. They said they were going to leave and come back with more people to help with the move and they never came back! They said they would be back in 20 minutes. I reached out to the owner after 30 minutes and never heard back from him! I ended moving everything myself. I gave him a bunch of chances through the day to make up for it, but he never made an effort to do so! The name of the owner of the company is Deshawn. Never again! read more

No show !!! No calls no excuse. Ridiculous. Make up an excuse and at least answer your texts and phone if you are going to No Show. Moving is stressful enough, screwing people over and not showing up seems to be their thing. read more

I cannot recommend Moving Simplicity enough. I moved from Mechanicsburg to Midtown Harrisburg and had a LOT of furniture (and heavy pieces at that). The team was on time, polite, professional, and treated my belongings with care. I wish I could give them more stars! read more

Does not even deserve this rating of 1 star. Seems Moving Simplicity is not reliable at all. Our company represents senior communities nationwide. Moving Simplicity committed to a move to take place on Friday September 28. These unreliable people never showed up. Since they never reached out to us, we tried communicating with them for an explanation... .... MOVERS BEWARE! If I could leave zero stars, I would. I was in contact with Demarks about a short distance move from Lancaster County PA to Dauphin County PA and ended up hiring this Company to assist moving my living room and bedroom furniture. The pricing was very fair and reasonable. On moving day, no one showed up at the scheduled 9:00 am time. I called Demarks, but he didn't answer and I couldn't leave a voicemail message due to his voicemail box being full. I received a text message from him saying they were running late and would be there shortly. At 10:15 am, no one still showed up. I called again, and again no one answered. I texted Demarks and he never wrote me back. DO NOT use this company! They are completely unreliable and stood me up in a time of need. While their pricing is great, what good is it if they don't show up to do the job that they're hired to do?! read more

I have to say Moving Simplicity lives up to its name. Moving anything feels like a daunting task but they made me feel at ease and made it look so simple! Although we had a small glitch with timing, DeMarkes stayed in contact with me at all times letting me know what was happening with the move. He and his partner took time and care with getting everything setup upon arrival. I can't stress how important it is to me to show pride in what you do. Thank you for your hard work! We used this company in the past with success. I reached out to them and set up a date (July 1st) to move houses again. We scheduled a time for 2:00pm. I even sent an email the night before confirming the appointment. I rented a truck until 6:00pm and had the movers scheduled from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. My wife and I packed up as much of the smaller boxes as we could. We waited for the movers to arrive...at 2:30 I tried calling and emailing... at 3:00 I realized they were not coming. My wife and I threw as much on the truck as we could and took it to the new house. The truck had to be back at 6:00pm or the late fees would be astronomical. I ended up renting another truck on Tuesday, paid $70 to stay an extra two days in our old rental, and my in laws drove over from western PA to help. They broke an agreement with us... I called that night (1st) and the owner said "there must've been some misunderstanding" and that it wasn't on his calendar. I said I'll email you since I'm exhausted. I tried to arrange some solution to this...Since I still needed to move, yet they have ignored every email I've sent. I have no other option than to warn others so that you are not in this situation, and take whatever action I need to, to be compensated. Although this is not a large moving company, it is a company and they broke our agreed date, time, and price with no notice. If he would've just called that morning and said "hey, it's too hot out for us to help you move" or whatever the excuse may be, we could've planned for this. For them not to show up or even answer my calls was despicable. read more

Was a no-show to the job even after sending confirmation the night before. Asked if they could be 30 min late to our appointment the morning of, then proceeded to not answer texts or calls over an hour and a half after our original scheduled start time. Still have not heard back from them. Ended up scheduling a team from Master Movers who were able to show up for me day of. read more

Awesome moving experience with these guys. They managed to fit a 23ft truck's worth of stuff into a 17 footer due to an issue with U-Haul. Three guys moved all my stuff in a very reasonable amount of time. They even gave me a break due to running late because of the U-Haul mix up. Guys were extremely friendly and professional. They did not show up on moving day. Called 5 times, texted, left a message and still no answer; no show. There is a reason they are cheaper than all the other moving companies.... you get what you pay for! Do not use this company! I highly recommend this company! They worked hard and fast to get us totally unpacked from our pods. They were also very careful with our stuff and didn't scratch any walls. Very polite and kind. If I could leave zero stars I would. I called them on Saturday asking about getting a possible quote for moving some furniture for my uncle and aunt who moved from Enola to Mechanicsburg. The gentleman on the phone told me it would be 380 for 4 hours and that there would be 4 guys and they would provide the truck. To our surprise they said they would be able to come the next day at 10am! Awesome right? No, I got a text at 932 the next morning asking if they could reschedule because two of the guys were out of town and the "manager" wasn't aware of that.. and it would be two hard for two guys to do it themselves. When we asked what time and if we'd get a discount the guy told us he'd cut $40 off the rate to make up. We told them we'd rather just see what the two guys could do and that it wasn't our fault they had a issue with their scheduling. We tried calling twice and the manager wouldn't pick up the phone, and never showed up on either day for the job. Talk about unprofessional. read more

I used Moving Simplicity for my daughters condo, and I could not have been more pleased. Marcus was very easy to work with on the phone and that wish to please carried through the entire move. He texted me because they were going to be 5 minutes late , and then showed up just when he said. The young men with him were polite and worked very efficiently to load and unload the truck. They knew what they were doing and were careful with every piece of furniture and box. I would use them again and recommend Moving Simplicity we thought reservation. read more

After paying him hundreds of dollars he desided to refuse my calls for future business or to answer qestions. Beware if you hire this company. I hired them 2 times. The first time I hired them to move my sister. They ran so late we had to reschedule for the next day which was ok. Again they were late but they sent an extra person to help. I now just hired them to move my items. Checked with them two days before to make sure they were still good for the move and they said they would be there. Sunday rolls around. No show, no reply back when I left a message or texting them. They would not even pick up their phone. It's a shame as the workers themselves did a good job but very unprofessional in not even making a phone call to say they would not be able to make it and leaving someone high and dry. They were a little late arriving due to a late night move from the day before. Even though it was a small move, they brought extra help to speed things up. They movers were all respectful, and very careful in wrapping all the furniture. We had a delay on the other end when the building my daughter was moving into did not have the elevator available for us at our reserved time. Once we resolved that they made quick work of completing the move. I would recommend them. read more

My husband and I were moving to Camp Hill and were very pleased with moving simplicity! We bought a brand new house and after a lot of bulky furniture and weird corners, not a single mark on the wall! They were so careful with our stuff and our walls. Very reasonably priced as well.
