I don't know why there's less than 5 stars for this entertainment! Yes I question 2nd date updates and more segments. However this isn't a news station. This is a morning radio show. Disappointed Jubal is gone but Young Jeffrey is doing a great job. Brooke and Jose are the best! Falling in like with Alexis and Digital Jake. This is a fun morning show! And I paid $20 on Cameo for Jose to say happy birthday to my husband and he rocked it. read more

I go to web to listen to their second date updates. They are hilarious and start my day with a chuckle. I am writing my 5 star review because to day I went again to listen and see that 92.5, a class act, has a red banner atop the page asking us to donate to the Red Cross as relief for victims of fire etc. People have lost everythign in most unprecedented fires ever in WA, OR & CA. read more

Wow if i would have ran into one of them I would have been star struck. We didnt tho. We were there to pick up mariners tickets we won for the game on the 9th. The building was very nice inside. MOViN 92.5's ads are absolutely atrocious. Who wants to look at a bunch of local asses shaking it whiteboy/girl-style to dance hits from the '80s, '90s and today? Seriously. The ads are enough to make me never want to listen to the radio station, just on principle alone. The thing is, though, I really, really like the station. Every time I tune in, usually during my commute to and/or from work, I'm instantly transported back to a junior high dance. The kind where all the cool kids (not me) dance "the Worm" in a circle, while all the other kids stand around and watch, desperately hoping someone will ask them to dance when "End of the Road" comes on (SO me). Yep, I am a product of the late '80s/early '90s bad music scene, so MOViN 92.5 is like a trip down memory lane. One song after another conjures up some sort of anecdote from my past. For instance, when I heard "Pony" by Ginuwine, I immediately thought of this guy who would do this signature dance move called "the Percolator" to this song. It involved inappropriately gyrating on the gymnasium floor. Years later, that same guy tried to make out with me in my mom's room, and I was so grossed out, because he was the Percolator guy ... but I digress. (Did I just share too much?) Check out MOViN 92.5 if you want to hear music by the likes of Color Me Badd, Bel Biv DeVoe, Marky Mark, Prince, old-school-before-she-turned-Brit Madonna, and local artist Sir Mix-A-Lot. The format gets a little repetitive, but guaranteed, you'll have a hard time not wanting to shake your own ass as you drive across 520. Oh wait, that's just me. read more

I love this station purely because of nastagic reasons. Loved the New Jack Swing music of the late 80's and early 90's. But sometimes it is a hit and miss, right now they are playing "My Humps" which is probably one of the worst songs ever, and occaionally plays Gwen Stephani. But they also play old school music like Tony, Toni, Tone, Bel Biv Devoe (sorry Michelle, they are a great group), among other great artists of the past and present. I used to listen to this all the time when I was working on my master's capstone. *Update* Now they seem to play more of today's music instead of the older stuff I liked when I first wrote this review. One reason why I liked this station is because of the lack of DJ's but now they have a morning show called "The Ladies Room" which is pretty much is two girls who talk about celebrity gossip in between songs. One of the most horrific excuses for a "radio station" in the history of broadcast. Here is the Movin' Formula: 1 part crappy music from the 80s 2 parts crappy R&B from the 90s 4 parts crappy schlock from 2000 and beyond Mix ingredients in a bowl of corporate payola 100 measures of repetition Lather, rinse, repeat. Here's an idea, Movin' Monkeys: fire your DJs and replace them with an iTunes playlist that has "Umbrella" by Rihanna on "repeat one." After a couple hours, have the janitor duck in and switch the song to "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergien on "repeat one." [Note to Fergie: big girls don't cry and they also don't say garbage like "I'm not gonna miss you like a child misses his blanket."] Later, you can transition to B.S. 90's hip-hop and R&B that only garners a listening audience comprised of has-been popular high-schoolers desperate to numb their lame existenced by incessantly attempted to regain the glory days where all you had to do to be cool was wear Mossimo and Stussy. If you really want to lump yourself in with this crowd, go for it. Tune in to Movin' 92.5 -- More damaging to brain cells than marijuana; only legal! Every day I fall a bit more in love with 92.5. Perhaps it is that just yesterday I heard BOTH "Baby Got Back" and "Ice, Ice, Baby" on my ride home. Maybe it is that there are few-ish commercials and chatting - but really, they play all my favorites in rapid succession! When we are having a slow day at work - I crank this up for a few minutes and we all end up in a MUCH better mood. Or at least my staff smile and laugh at me while we shake our tooshies in the hall. I think it is pretty much impossible to listen to this station without a smile on your face. It just makes you happy! read more

I'm sorry but the guy who keeps laughing on the background is being very annoying and makes me feel weird. Sometimes there is something that is not even funny, but more serious, and he keeps laughing anyway. I love this radio, but at least, they need to find different people to "laugh" on the background. Every morning on my drive to work I listen to this radio station because I like the funny segments such as the phone tap on the twenties as well as the second date updates and the laser stories. Some of the phone taps are so over-the-top and outrageous you would think that sooner or later Jubal is going to p-ss someone off so bad and they might actually hunt the guy down. I also think the Craigslist missed connections are super funny. It's disturbing how lonely people are and that they resort to the Craigslist connections. Also the second date updates, I feel sorry for those dudes whining and crying because some girl they barely know won't called them back (get a blow up doll already if your that insecure & lonely). When did Men become such pansies? I also agree with what a lot of the other reviewers are saying about Jose. Often times, he isn't that funny but more towards the realm of annoying, because he spends so much energy giggling at everything Jubal (& simetimes brooke says) even if what they are saying isn't that funny. The guy should shut up and stop giggling at every other sentence and learn how to be funny. From listening to the show, I myself have learned that Turtles do in fact have intimate relations with shoes, which I didn't know before listening to this show. In the mornings, I prefer that they have more talk radio and more funny segments rather than the blaaaaand repetitive music they play. I'm very tired, as well as I'm sure others are, of listening to the same ol' lame a-s music. Here's a formula they should stick to in the mornings: Less music and more talk radio. Second date updates and phone taps are the best. Music is Repetitive. Jose laughing gets kind of annoying. Brooke and Jubal are great. But my main complaint is Jose laughing the whole time they are doing a second date update. There's nothing funny being said and he's laughing non stop. read more

I don't really mind 92.5. When I flippin' through my dials I don't mind hearing an RnB/Hip-Hop oldie. The reason I am giving 92.5 a bad rating is the 'Ladies Room' morning show. This show is just terrible. The on air personality Monty is extremely obnoxious and annoying. She goes on the air for hours airing out her dirty laundry. I happened to be listening one hour when she called her husband to work out their marriage problems on air and his drinking problem on air. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable to listen to. She goes on and on about her new born baby and mindless celebrity gossip. Get rid of this show and the ratings will improve! read more

I love The Ladies Room in the morning! They are completly entertaining to listen to and play a good mix of music too. I am giving it four stars because their gossip is not at ten to the hour anymore so I miss it and I don't love the Panel of Men that seem to be on all the time. read more

I'd like to disagree with Whitney L from Bellevue. The morning girls are quite entertaining which is why I've started to listen to Movin' 92.5 on a more regular basis. The humor that these girls have is far superior than most other morning shows. It's not your typical Barnes and Noble Joke book humor. Perhaps you should switch to A.M.. I'm sure radio Disney has a Hannah Montana skit that you would find more to your liking. GO RADIO DISNEY!!! read more

I grew up around Ft. Worth, TX and use to listen to 106.1 Kiss FM on the way to school and it was pretty funny but holy crap y'all are hilarious. I'm actually listening to the 2nd date update while I'm at work now. Jose is funny, laughs a lot but he's funny. Jubal is hilarious, but I LOVE Brooke. Thanks for making my morning better! read more
