We got there early to hopefully make it close to the screen. The pop-up concept sounded popular and I knew the lot that was being used wasn't that big right off the 17th st causeway. Even though we were plenty early the first couple rows were full of cars. There was alot of like minded people just happy to be out seeing a movie under the evening sky. We still landed a nice spot though. It was actually a perfect night despite it being a little warm. I parked my SUV backwards and we popped the hatch to sit in the back. We prepped a couple drinks and snacks and I tested that the sound from the radio channel sounded good. Everything was nice, I even remembered to bring some chairs in case we wanted to sit in front. The movie was great. The picture was clear and the sound was as well. We had seen "Dirty Dancing" plenty of times before so we were able to just enjoy being there and talk some as we knew the beats of the movie already. We made the right call for a Friday night, it was perfect.

We sure are! and as soon as we saw that this pop-up drive in was happening we stalked their site to see what movies they were playing. As you can imagine movies are not new releases but they sure picked some good "rewatchables" and we decided to go on a Friday, to start our weekend in the right relaxing note, and watch Dirty Dancing. The place was well organized, they had people to check you in (no contact, once you bought your tickets you are on the list and they scratch you up upon arrival). Then guys with mask guide you to your parking spot and that's it. You set up and enjoy the movie. The same guys that helped park also did rounds to make sure everyone had their car lights off and were all practicing social distancing. They also had two food trucks and a tent with drinks and snacks for purchase, again, everyone wearing masks. The movie was timed perfectly to start playing as soon as the sun went down to give us the best view on the screen. Great way to spend our Friday and do something (safe) out of the house during COVID times.

Sound quality was great, the seats were very comfortable, and the image on the screen was clear. Do be cautious that this is at a children's museum so if you're watching one of their nature/documentary films, you might hear a lot of noise coming from the audience.

Well, the parking was steeply priced in the public garage then a short walk to the IMAX building which is also the home of the Museum of Discovery and Science. Paid for my $20.00 ticket through the IMAX online portal. Then waited like cattle in a huge line leading into the theatre. The best seats are oddly the center of the back row since the movie screen is 60 feet tall from the floor to ceiling (six stories tall). Middle aisle down would get you dizzy looking directly up to watch the movie. We had great seats and the movie was good with fabulous dolby sound. Tonight I went in to catch another film but unfortunately they only have one movie playing called Intersteller, which I already saw ten years ago (I guess they show old movies). So instead of the movie, my wife and I went outside into the courtyard and learned about the giant two story clock that drops balls onto a coaster. Not sure if it was just an artistic thing or just a conversation piece or both. The IMAX manager, Alexis, gave us a quick lesson. Only two of these clocks made in the world, one in China and this one here and is in motion daily from 9am - 530pm.

This is my go to movie theater located at the Promenade in Coconut Creek…read more This theater is a great place to watch a movie. The seats are very comfortable, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the film. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and cozy, creating a pleasant experience from the moment you walk in. The sound and picture quality are excellent. I saw the new Michael Jackson movie in a special theater with Dolby surround sound. The employees are friendly and helpful. It's a good theater to go to with friends, family, or even by yourself. It is always clean and fully staffed. The app makes it easy to reserve seats plus order food and drinks right to your seat. It also allows you to earn rewards and points for a free movies and treats. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable movie-going experience.

I will say, the reason I gave it a 4 star review is because first of all, they don't allow you to order everything on the menu via the QR code at your seat, and 2, the seats done recline. Let's talk about the food first. I love this place because they have a full bar/restaurant in the entrance of the theater. You can just go and eat/drink without seeing a movie which is cool, while you can also order the food/drinks and have them delivered to your seat if you're watching a movie. They then also have regular movie theater concessions which you can go and buy yourself or you can go sit at your seat in the theater and either a server will come up to you and take your order or you can scan the QR code and order. I recommend ordering with the server because like I mentioned previously, some stuff doesn't show up via the QR code. Also, I think their drinks are slightly overpriced for what you're getting. They're charging $10-$15 for a drink as if it's this nice fancy cocktail but it shows up lack luster. The seats are super big and comfy, but like I said, I just wish they reclined. The popcorn is super good and salty and buttery too.

I don't come here by choice. I come here by love, loyalty,…read moreand a fiancé named Julia--and because she and her friends have memberships, I am happily carried along like emotional support luggage. Welcome to AMC Dine-In Coral Ridge, a place that understands two very important truths about modern cinema: 1. Seats should recline like a dentist chair from the future. 2. Bartenders should be friendly, because movies are long and life is hard. On both fronts, they absolutely deliver. Let's start with the real MVPs: the bartenders. Friendly, fast, and merciful. No attitude, no sighing, no "we're slammed" nonsense. They pour like professionals who understand that alcohol improves everything, including mediocre plot lines and unnecessary reboots. Now the seats. These recliners are the reason I show up. Full stop. Wide, cushy, electric, and forgiving--like a La-Z-Boy that went to film school. Once you're locked in, you're not going anywhere. Which is perfect, because standing up during previews feels like a personal failure. The food... Look. It's not bad. But it's not great either. It's food that knows it lives in a movie theater and has accepted that fate. It could use an upgrade. A little ambition. A little seasoning. Something that says, "We tried." Right now it mostly says, "You were hungry, weren't you?" But then--salvation. The soda machines. These Coca-Cola Freestyle units are glorious. A dystopian sci-fi wall of infinite carbonation choices. Flavors you didn't ask for, didn't need, but will absolutely try. Cherry Vanilla Lime Diet Whatever? Yes. Push the button. Live dangerously. This machine is doing more creative work than half the studios releasing movies this year. So why do I keep coming back? Because the seats recline. Because the bartenders are cool. Because the soda machines are unhinged.

Two Small Popcorns Only to have one of the seats located in Theater TEN Row E/Seat6 to be mangled to the point of no return is unacceptable. Does no one there care to either Remove the seat or Cover the seat so it can be unused or purchased? I obviously went to the Front ticket area and showed the Employee and she seemed shocked...as she proceeded to reassign us different seats (was she shocked enough to tell her Manager to get this fixed ASAP)? (I hope so). Other than that the Food was good, and the Movie was good!, the Appearance (not good)!
