MouseGear: where EPCOT's real ride was seeing how fast you could max out your credit card. MouseGear was EPCOT's gift shop on steroids -- a temple of merchandise that once stood as the beating heart of Future World until it closed in 2021 to make way for the shinier, sleeker Creations Shop. And honestly? It was glorious chaos while it lasted. History check: MouseGear opened in 1999, replacing Centorium (which was EPCOT's original mega-store since 1982). Where Centorium had the vibe of "futuristic department store," MouseGear leaned into "what if we crammed every Disney product ever made under one roof and threw some gears on the walls to make it look steampunk?" Walking into MouseGear felt like you'd entered the Costco of Disney merch. Mickey ears, spirit jerseys, pins, kitchenware, toys, Dooney & Bourke bags -- if it had a Disney logo, it was here. The place was huge, loud, and perpetually packed, like a holiday rush that never ended. And yet, it was also... magical. Because who doesn't want to impulse-buy a Figment mug at 9:00 a.m. after riding Spaceship Earth? I muttered something like, "It's consumerism run wild. But damn, they know how to sell it." And he'd be right -- this was Disney retail as an attraction in itself. Best thing? The pin trading and limited-edition drops. MouseGear was where you felt like an insider if you scored a rare pin or exclusive piece of merch. It was shopping, yes, but it also had that EPCOT sense of being part of something a little bigger -- part nostalgia, part future, all Disney. Bottom line: MouseGear may be gone, but it's still the stuff of EPCOT legend. This is the One Stop Shop that you should definitely go to if you're looking for any gifts at Epcot. They have many different items that range from clothing to accessories to toys and everything here is a themed to the Walt Disney World theme park that you are in. They even have items that you can't get another theme parks or Disney Springs. This store sells items that are designed to look like items in the park. They have toys that look like race cars that are styled to the right vehicle that you get in on test track and they even sell freeze-dried ice cream because that's what astronauts eat, and that's the type of item you should be eating while you're waiting in line for mission space. Mission space is an amazing ride as well! The cast members here are insanely nice and over-the-top helpful and will go out of their way to get any item that you may be looking for. If they don't have it here and they will even order it to send to your hotel room if you are staying on Disney property. read more

Every Disney park has a huge store full of everything imaginable related to Disney and their characters. Think World of Disney or Emporium. At EPCOT it's this store. Whatever you're looking for, it's here. They even have obscure stuff. A friend of mine collects postcards and wanted me to grab a few on my trip to Orlando. These quaint mailers seem to be a relic of the past when people actually wrote brief notes and mailed them to friends or family while on vacation. I couldn't find Disney postcards anywhere but they had them here. Don't panic when you see how long the checkout line is - it moves fast! read more

Mouse Gear is the biggest gift shop in Epcot full to the brim of gifts, goodies and gear! There are treasures galore around every turn. I always end up finding some souvenirs for friends to bring home, as well as a little something something for myself. Mouse Gear has a large assortment of clothing as you may have gathered from the name of the shop. This store is also known for having a variety of plus sized clothing (2XL and 3XL), more than other places on property and it's second in clothing selling in general only next to World of Disney in Disney Springs. On our latest trip, we got a few items including Disney Racer cars, normally $7 each but they usually have a sale at Mouse Gear 4/$20! Sales at Disney are rare, you gotta take 'em when you see 'em! Every Disney park (at least in WDW) has a large-format retail store in addition to smaller shops and kiosks. Here at Epcot, their flagship store is MouseGear. This is the one-stop shop where you can find a large variety of both general Disney merch and more specific Epcot things as well. I've been inside MouseGear many times and really feel it's one of the strongest retail stores on property. MouseGear is nestled on the east side of Future World, kind of embedded in the structure that used to house Innoventions East. When Epcot first opened in 1982, there was a different retailer here called The Centorium. When CommuniCore was transformed into Innoventions in 1994, so was The Centorium into MouseGear. The store is huge - and the layout is somewhat unorthodox with a lot of turns and multiple entrances/exits. I'll be real I've been in MouseGear countless times and still don't really know my way around. Selection of merch is awesome - really one of the most "department store" types of retailers I've seen in the parks. There's a lot of general Disney merch but personally I always go here for the Epcot-specific things. When the park turned 35 they had a great selection of celebratory items, and I'm loving the fact that Disney is bringing back some vintage Epcot logos and putting them on their merch. MouseGear is almost impossible to miss when in Epcot - like really, it has an imposing facade and you almost have to pass it to get to the east side attractions. If you're looking to spend even more money than you already have at Disney, or just need sanctuary from the Florida sun, MouseGear is the place to be. read more

Definitely the "emporium" of Epcot! If you are looking for a one stop shop for merch within Epcot, this is your store. Here you'll find almost everything you can find throughout the park for Disney items. Keep in mind that if it's a pavilion specific piece, that's only ever going to be in that pavilion area. They recently stocked up on holiday merch and we grabbed a Mickey ugly sweater and some festive Minnie ears in our most recent visit. They also have the Christmas light necklaces that people are always on the lookout for. If you are looking for those coveted Rose gold Minnie ears, you can find a full rack available here too!! Staff can usually be found both at registers and on the sales floor, which is nice of you need help finding anything. They are usually pretty knowledgeable about the merch on hand. Although I didn't buy anything here, I did come in to beat the heat for a few minutes. There are tons of gift options here for anyone on your list. So many things to chose from. Stuffed toys, magnets, shirts, pins, etc. Not sure if the prices because I wasn't looking mother to shop, but I did overhear another shopper complaining that a small Stich bag was $80.00. So just by that you can gauge what the other prices might be. The store is big, keep an eye on your child. So many children were just running around with out an adult. Mouse Gear is one of the largest stores of all shops in Orlando located inside Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort Orlando. Deep into future land and next to the electric umbrella (which is the hot spot for pin trading). You really can't miss it; it's right next to the enormous fountain. This is probably considered "the store" as they have the widest selection of items. Often you will find the store to be filled with either holiday Disney swag or an overwhelming amount of souvenir shirts, flip flops, hats, shorts and assorted clothing. During the holidays the merchandise is some fantastic one off items. The selection of Xmas ornaments is insane! The stuff the put out for Halloween is great always featuring some of their rare annual one. Now, take note:! BUY ONE NO MATTER HOW EARLY You early find them...if it's June and 7 months away...buy one? They go so quickly. They've also added some power/charger l stick vending machines to swap out a dead one and it will give you a freshly charged one. It's about $30 and you can swap them anywhere they have the machines such as the airport. Lots of stuff here, but don't forget...you can have purchases delivered to the front gate OR your Disney hotels, don't go getting stuck carrying around all day. read more

I was in Epcot and was going to meet some friends who were... well, taking their time waking up and stuff. Fortunately one friend did get there on time, so we spent some time browsing through the Mouse Gear shop in Epcot. This store has a good portion of the available Disney-specific merchandise inside it available for purchase. Epcot is kind of special in regards to Disney merchandise, as it really only has a few stores that cater to Disney specific stuff. The World Showcase much more country specific, hawking the wares of the various countries represented rather than Disney stuff, so the only place in Epcot that you get Disney stuff is in Future World, and there are not a lot of places that do it (OK, there are, but almost all of them are small). Mouse Gear is the exception, and it is really the place to go for almost all of your Disney stuff at Epcot. The other key thing is that it is air conditioned, and on a hot summer day it is a relief to walk in and cool off a bit while looking at things that you can buy. Note that if you are staying at one of the on-property resorts you can have items delivered to your room or shipped home without having to shlep the items through the park all day. If you are there early in the day you can also have them delivered to the front of the park to be picked up at the end of the day. Just make sure you remember to actually pick them up! I enjoyed looking around at the items there, but after a while we decided to just go across the breezeway to the Electric Umbrella (which wasn't open yet) and sit and talk while waiting for the rest of our group to wake up and drive to the park. read more

Super huge Disney gift shop located inside of Epcot. You will find just about anything you can think of with MIckey or his infamous icon plastered on it in this store. Clothing, purses, jewelry, shoes, toys, kitchen items..... and the list goes on and on. This store is always crowded and can be difficult to move around in. Also, be careful not to get lost in here. It's very easy to get completely turned around and not know where you are. They have plenty of cash registers here and all of them are generally open, but the lines to check out do get extremely long, so you may be in for a wait. It's very easy to walk into this store and lose an hour or so of your time looking around at everything. It's like you get caught in some kinda of Disney time warp. I'm not saying that's a bad thing b/c you're getting a nice reprieve from the heat and there really are a lot of cool things to see, but if you're tight on time because you're trying to squeeze in Epcot, then don't let time get away from you while you're in here. Since this store is so very large, keep an eye on your kids. Heck, keep an eye on other adults in your party. I kid you not when I tell you I wandered off from my husband one time and spent 30 minutes looking for him! LOL If you make a lot of purchases here or you purchase something that's really large, they can have it sent to your Disney Resort if you happen to be staying in one so you don't have to carry it around with you all day inside Epcot. If you're not staying at a Disney Resort, I recommend you hit this shop at the end of the night after Illuminations because it does stay open later. Have fun, don't get lost, and make sure your credit card has a high limit... you will be paying Disney prices after all! =) read more

Looking for a store at Epcot to hoard all of your souvenirs in one trip? Well, MouseGear is your place. This is my favorite 'generic' gift shop in the park primarily because of its size. It's also one that is spread out enough to where you don't feel claustrophobic around the other park-goers. They have a section for pretty much anything and they are all organized well and easy to navigate. They also have a place to monogram your mickey ears! HUGE STORE! As others have said, it's Epcot's "Emporium." The main gift shop at Tomorrowland, MouseGear has just about everything the Disney fan would want, and then some. Clothing, hats, trinkets, pins, aprons, purses, toys .... anything, really. Tons of mouse ears, hats, even limited runs of merch can be found here. There is usually an Annual Passholder merchandise area around the middle of the store, close to where the doors lead to the Test Track area, so don't forget to lock down some of that sweet AP swag when the big events come around (e.g. Food & Wine Festival..). Plenty of registers, plenty of staff. Prices are about what you'd expect for Disney, so really any arguments or gripes about prices are irrelevant. Don't forget about package delivery to the resorts so you don't have to lug around those purchases all day or deal with them if you're taking resort transportation. read more

This is a very large store with an endless supply of trinkets, cloths and other Disney merchandise. If you don't find it here, it doesn't exist. Prices on merchandise is stupidly expensive. Take for example coffee and tea mugs. A mug maybe costs a dollar to make, but Disney sells there for $15+. Keep your eyes out for t-shirt deals. Sometime Disney will offer a buy 2 for $20 each deal, which is nice. One huge benefit of Mousegear is the AC. Epcot can be oppressively hot because of all of the concrete, but you can take a few minutes to wander around Mousegear and chill. read more

Some of us were looking for specific character items and some of us just wanted a specific item. Each one of us found exactly what we were looking for at Mouse Gears on our way out of the store. Not without help though- this place just seems to keep going and going. Thankfully there were several Disney Cast Members wandering around ready to point us in the right direction. A large souvenir shop in Epcot, MouseGear will have everything you could possibly want for a Disney souvenir. It's like a smaller World of Disney but it's still pretty large. We went there to receive our annual pass magnets and they're pretty organized with the signs and the area you go to obtain them. The prices in the store are standard to what everyone charges but I just like that they have everything. Some of the stores only have certain things which I get. But this for sure can be your one stop shopping while at Epcot. read more

This is the biggest store in EPCOT and has pretty much all of the regular merchandise that you would want to find. The staff is always super friendly and overly helpful. The newest toys they have here are from Star Wars The Last Jedi, and the droids are super cool. A very large merchandise collection located right by the spaceship earth. This place has everything from beach towels to garden gnomes, mugs to Christmas ornaments, plates and flatware to scarves and headwear. All the Disney merchandise you could ever want and more. It's nice AC'd for a bit of relief from the heat while making your way through Epcot. I've found many an item in here to take home, but usually leave them there because of the slightly inflated prices. It's like Disney's version of Walmart!!! Seriously though this place is crazy. We stopped in during Food & Wine fest (as locals) and the tourists were buzzing around like crazy as if it was Black Friday and they had never been to a Disney store IN THEIR LIFE. It has all your typical Disney memorabilia for children and adults. So you can spend a good time browsing. Prices are on par with theme park prices so be prepared to spend some $$. This is the largest store in Epcot where you can get all of your Disney merchandise. Seriously this place has everything from toys, clothes, jewelry, kitchenware and every color of mouse ears. The store is divided into sections based on what you're in the mood for and it has registers scattered throughout. On this occasion I came in just to peruse because I hadn't come in the store for a while. The layout had been changed a little but it wasn't hard to navigate. I ended up purchasing an Alex & Ani bracelet I had been looking for and the girl that assisted me was happy, kind and very helpful! Mouse Gear is a huge gift shop located within Epcot. It's pretty close to the entrance, just after you pass Spaceship Earth. I'd say this is definitely one of the larger gift shops I've been in the parks. They've got a large selection of pretty much everything. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, this location is pretty much always packed no matter what time you go. Probably because of all the selection. So this was a huge shop. There is a large selection of souvenirs, t-shirts, hats, etc. I was happy to find my hat for the trip (I usually buy a fedora on each vacation I go on, and I was super exited to find a Nightmare Before Christmas themed fedora!) along with Mickey Mouse ears of my own (unfortunately I have a big dome, it fits more like a yamica than a hat). They offer embroidery services for mouse ears, so we got our names on them. It was a nice ship, staff were very pleasant. read more

Mouse gear store is great, lots of things to choose from!! With that said there is one cast member that works in the accessory department at mouse gear that doesn't belong in Disney( the happiest place on earth)! Her name is Kelsey and she was very rude. My daughter and I were standing at the Alex and Ani bracelet case, waiting patiently cause we are aware they are very busy, two other girls walked up after us, Kelsey came to case we already knew what we wanted just needed it to be given to us she was helping noone so I asked for the bracelet and she said I've been helping this lady for 10 minutes (which was not true ) but I waited anyway and after she was done helping her, she didn't even acknowledge us and proceeded to help the girls that came after us! Which o believe was out of spite!! So I went to register and someone very nice and polite helped us, after politely asking for a minute, wish I would have caught her name cause she was very nice and polite unlike kelsey, I was just so frustrated at that point! We have been annual pass holders for 2 years and can honestly say this was the only time I've encountered such behavior!! read more
