The clerk was busy with other customers when I visited, but she still made an effort say hello and to welcome me. Arrangements are made to order. The colorful flowers made the cold day seem much brighter. The prices seemed high, but I have not bought flowers in a while. They carry a few gift and decor items. A number of Christmas themed stuffed animals were on display and would make perfect gifts for children. I like to support these local businesses that take pride in their work. There is free public parking across the street, but spaces are hard to come by, so go early.

Linda did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding down in Bloomington! I had her special order Picasso Calla Lilies and arrange all of the boutonnières for family members. She also put together three lovely terrariums for the tables at the wedding, as well as some greenery for our wedding cake. The arrangements were gorgeous and so was her farm. Just two things to consider: she does not deliver, so it made it a little more difficult to get the arrangements before the wedding. While she is only 20 minutes outside of Bloomington, it wasn't on the way to our venue. I knew my parents would love to see the farm, so that made it worthwhile for me. The other thing is that she has two (adorable) dogs that will greet you when you arrive. I LOVE dogs, but don't care for them to jump on me with muddy paws. . . ;) When we went to pick up the wedding flowers, the dogs jumped onto the side of my newly-washed vehicle and left mud marks & scratches on my car. I had my car washed again and the marks from the dogs are still there. Not the end of the world, but not fabulous either. A tall paper cup is what you are provided and gets a little soggy as time passes. My kids are 5 and 3 and they both had so much fun picking flowers. We picked zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, daisies and cosmos. We purchased 2 bouquets and with that amount made 4 bouquets at home. It's amazing how many flowers fit in a tall paper cup. I'm not sure if dahlias are ever available but that is one flower I would love to be able to pick a bouquet of. Totally thinking of having my kids' bday party here next summer. Really such a great experience to get kids closer to nature.
