If there was a way to leave no stars, I would. This has to be the worst medical facility in the state. We went there because my wife's OB suggested it and said that it was a very good hospital with a bad reputation that was "untrue". So we went, my wife had a C section and ended up having to stay for four days afterwards. Those were the weirdest and most stressful days of my life. And no, not because of our newborn daughter, but, because of the sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism that we endured from the nurses on the labor and delivery floor. They were all highly ill trained, telling my wife that they needed to separate her from the baby because my wife's Blood sugar kept dropping during the nighttime. We told them that wasn't necessary and requested that they actually give my wife food with carbohydrates, which they wouldn't before, and to check her blood sugar every 3 hours. I also decided that night to stay at the hospital to see what was going on. I woke up around 4am, checked my wife's blood sugar, saw that it was 33 (very low), gave her something to eat and drink, and when I went out of the room to notify the nurses of what happened, I found the three nurses on duty that night all fast asleep at their desks. They eventually would wake up around 6:30 to be surprised and astonished my wife's sugar wasn't as low as the previous days. Ohh and before 6:30, they had last checked her at 1:00am. Event after we filed numerous complaints, we still have yet to speak to anyone about this situation. That hospital and it's under trained staff are putting peoples lives in danger. They are not qualified at all. I strongly do not recommend this hospital for anything medically serious. read more
