We are new to the area. Just moved here and bought a beautiful property- except one, large, ugly, dead tree. I needed it to go ASAP! As I normally do- I always get three quotes then choose the one I feel the best with. Whoever I choose sometimes is the lowest and sometimes not. Andy was the first to answer my call (my cell number is not local and many times gets ignored), he was the first to show up, he walked the property with me- we discussed options and he provided me with a quote. I hired tyler finch to give me a estimate on my 45ft pear tree removal and he told me the price and i told him i was on a strict time limit for this weekend because we wanted it done before our pool was going up the following week. he assured me we would have nothing to worry about. Andy Doss is an amazing arborist! My husband and I bought an old house with a huge amount of large, mature trees ...pines & oaks mostly. Since there's so much to do, we're having it done in phases. The 1st time he came out, he took down 6 huge pines that were at least 75 feet tall with no problem! The 2nd time out Andy took out all the horrible sweet gum trees, a few diseased ones, and lifted the canopy on maybe 6 huge oaks. Nice!!! Everyone who had seen before absolutely loves it. Mountaineer Tree Service came to my home and cut two very large oak trees from around my house. These trees were so large and hanging over my home so far, I was concerned that even a professional would not be able to cut these trees without at least a small amount of damage. Not so!!! It was amazing to watch the skill and precision of their work as they took down the trees, and very quickly at that.
