Millets is a small shop on Bridge Street selling outdoor clothing and footwear, tents, rucksacks,…read moremaps and accessories. Although the shop is fairly small in size you can order goods from their catalogue and have it delivered to the store. If you enjoy the outdoor life then this is the store for you. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and are always able to offer assistance if you require it. They have some good sales and discounts on throughout the year. They have a range of waterproof jackets, fleeces, hats, gloves etc for men, women and children. These vary from the cheaper Peter Storm range through to the more expensive Berghaus brand.

It is situated up on the cliffs above the small broad haven beach, the otherside of bosherston lilli ponds. Its has so much charm and beauty. A couple of seconds walk and your on the nation park coast path and greeted by the most wonderful views, the best in wales along side the views of the preseli mountains as reviewed on this site. It is near millitary ground st Martins, but they are hardly ever using it, there is a little station box on the coast path that if it was in use would have a barrier down etc. But this is never the case. The campiste has a basic toilet block with 3 toilets for each, but no showers. This is no problem realy and olny adds to the natural and rustic charm. And having the sea so close, your always in it, so a salty wash is always best!, But if a shower is in need of, there is a shower around the back of the toilet block in the national trust car park that is just over the hedge to the campsite. This is a only cold though and meant more for a rinsing after being in the sea. The owners who own the most stunning farm house and out buildings that have been converted and can be rented, are extremly friendly. and do regular checks of the campsite and facilities. They walk past, give a wave, and have a chat. A realy friendly family ortientated place. One time i was there, there owner made me stop putting the awning of my camper van and made me watch the setting sun with him as it dissapeared over the disstant horizon. Perfect! The views are breath taking.. and the campsite at night is beautifully quiet.. This really is heaven! hearing the sea crashing, and watching the stars that are mega mega bright above, whilst sat in the doorway of the awning with a drink in hand and haveing a good chat with friends!!! yep, sure is heaven!

The site proclaimed itself full while we were there but it didn't feel at all crowded and there was plenty of space around. Some of the touring pitches had hardcore bases (ours did) and others were on grass. All were well appointed with plenty of water points dotted about. The grass was well looked after and when they cut it with the sit on lawn mower the cutings were collected in a box on the back of it so you never had the problem of it trailing into the caravan or tent. There was one field that was just tourers and some statics (some for rent and some owner/occupied), the next field had tents and mobile homes and the third field had just tents. Dogs are allowed on the first field only. Near to where we were there was a good toilet block that incorporated both male and female toilets with two showers in each (definitely in the female one so I assume the male one was the same). It also had a family shower block, with bigger cubicles and a toilet in them. There was also a wetsuit washing area and a dishwashing area and veg preparation area, all indoors. Very well thought out. Up near the reception area, there was another set of toilets, a dishwashing area, and a laundry with two washers and two dryers. There was also an outdoor area where you could dry clothes on rotary airers. They also had a chemical toilet disposal area and a facility for filling up mobile homes with water. They also have a 'takeaway' on site. They do breakfasts, packed lunches and evening takeaway meals and sundries. For other basics you need to walk up the road a short way to the farm shop. Everything was clean and well looked after without that 'over fussy - too many rules' feeling. There is a small dog walk area near the exit. The only down side of this place is that you have to access it via a very narrow road so frequently have to pull into passing places or gateways to let other cars pass. A minor problem though. The site has a public car park next to the entrance which also has stunning views over the bay. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs below the campsite. There is easy access to the bay but it is a steep climb back up. You can hire a canoe in the bay or go body-boarding as loads of people were doing but check the tide table in the car park before going down as when the sea is in you cannot do either. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back there again.

We booked to stay at Portclais Farm last year during the August Bank Holiday. It was a last miunte…read moretrip and we were lucky to get a pitch at such short notice as its such a popular site. Location: The farm is in a rural setting perched on a rugged Cliff Top over looking the sea. The views from the site are stunning, just open fields and vast expanses of sea in front of you. Its a fair walk into St Davids so a Car is a must but the walk if you do attempt it is a lovley peaceful journey down farm tracks and country lanes. The location makes it ideal for sports enthusiasts, lots of opportunitys for Mountain Climbing, absailing, watersports and hiking just on your doorstep. The Site - The Campsite is approx 30 acres of flat farm land, it has both Tent pitches and a space set aside for Touring Caravans. The Campsite offers a small Toilet and Shower block, which could have been a bit bigger as it was so busy but they facilities were always nice and clean which is the main thing. There is no shop, Bar or entertainment on site so again a Car is useful. Price - We paid around £6 per person per night, which is the average price for a park of this size. All in all we had a fantastic few days and wouldnt hesitate to return to this site again. The Location is the biggest attraction, with beautiful walks along the coastal paths and the Lovely City of St Davids with its beautiful Cathedral and quaint little Shops close by.

Great location and if you love walking, the coast and the cliffs are right on your doorstep here. When we were there the site was virtually empty as it was midweek with that said people probably read the forecast ha. We had a few days of great weather, the last two not so good. The site is a nice walk from the village of St Davids so if you're into walking this is a treat. It's remote so the only sounds you hear at night is the ocean breeze. They even have a local delivery of milk and bread delivered right into the campground if you need. Would definitely return here when the weather is predicted to be sunny.

While asking here for a place for three the owners wife mentioned that they only gave tents 8 min away outside of the town lefz. As we were told that the tents are equipped with double beds and all other things you'd find in a hotel room and we've seen picture we decided to go for it. THE BEST IDEA EVER The tents are big enough for two people the box spring beads are extremely comfortable and I had a good sleep there. The site has a big kitchen tent with all you need a grill a fire place a hot shower and a water flushing toilet. I think this is the best place for a romantic night with your love. Next morning we had our included Welsh (!!!) Breakfast. It's pretty similar to the English bit it's served with black pudding which I don't like but it's cool to get something real local. Here we paid 30 Pound each as well but it was worth it and a really cool idea.

Room was lovely with ensuite (shower), good standard deco, the bed was soooo comfortable, tea/coffee facility, tv. Set a side is a room where you can sit watch tv & is where you have breakfast. Breakfast served on Denby plates, etc was cereal, followed by your choice from the menu (good choice amount), toast with jam/marmalade, tea/coffee, fruit was also on the table. You were allowed to take your key with you when leaving the premises. They have a folder telling all about themselves, what's in the area, also emergency contact numbers. The weather was wet & blowfly to go to the nearest pub so husband asked if okay to have some cans of lager in the sitting area, no problems. Would definitely recommend to people visiting the area. Sadie & Nigel Taylor run a working farm in NARBETH (The search engine could not find Narbeth when registering here, but found Haverfordwest?), which includes B & B, it is a 3 Welsh star standard. This was bought as a Anniversary present for my husband, but to share, decided it would be nice to stay elsewhere, not with relatives who live nearby. I have put 3 stars, however I have as yet not actually stayed there, but will be this weekend, then I will update.
Steve and Orla had a dream and now this B&B is the result and it is beautiful…read more The four rooms are luxurious and comfy, the food is great, the location is good, the owners are lovely :-) They go out of their way to please their guests with enormous hospitality and very comfortable completely newly built rooms (most of the building done by themselves). For breakfast they offer a tasty choice far beyond the usual Full English. We loved the fresh home baked cake for us to take whenever we wanted. St Davids being a really small place and accommodations filling up easily make sure to book ahead. There is not a lot of parking space in town so it is very convenient that the B&B has its own parking space.

There is a nice little souvenier shop there too. Some things were quite expensive but you can pick some cheap things up for the kids to remind themselves of their visit. We also learned a thing or two about the lifeboat charity.
We took our niece to to see the lovely town of tenby and this was the only place left with a family…read moreroom. We were not disappointed, and while this is not a ultra modern house it is very comfortable and cosy. All in all the whole experience was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone, older people to children alike.
