Just like to say that Martin and Julie who run this place are very nice people, easy to talk to and…read morewill go out thier way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We stayed on one of the sites Wigwams, Wigwams are awesome i love them and these one have the best amenities of all the ones i've stayed in. Tele !! yes a tele with freeview, microwave, kettle, toaster, heater and a fridge. The bed itself could easily sleep about 5 people . . and i do mean easily. This more glamerous form of camping , "Glamping" appeals to me as i dont need to pack up a tent. The shower block on this site id actually a lodge itself where each wigwam have access to thier own bathroom/shower. Having been used to purpose built shower blocks this was a nice surprise. For a couple it's only £35 per night. Great value for money :)

Nothing is too much trouble and they helped me with directions, building a fire and many more things! They even bought me a birthday present and got the boys some marshmallows to toast on the fire. From speaking to others they all felt the same about them and at £35 a night for the wigwam it was fabulous value for money. The toilet and rest room facilities are better than any others we have experienced camping. The boys could play completely safely as no traffic, cars or people! Had great days out at Carlisle castle, Hadrians wall and a lovely day out in Keswick which is about an hours drive away. If you want a peaceful, chilled out but clean, well managed holiday this is the place to go. It was FANTASTIC.
