In Cotswold you can get proper walking boots, real fell-running shoes, those ropey things that climbers use (you may guess that I'm not a climber), proper real coats, tents, hats... you get the idea. There's also gadgets like tripods for attaching to jungle branches and ways of finding your way in the desert. The staff know what Gortex and gaiters are. Not sure why it's called Cotswold as the stuff in here seems designed for ground that's a lot more challenging and rugged than the tame Cotswolds.

This ski/surf shop is located in the back lanes behind the main street in Cowbridge. This venue is a modern well stocked friendly store. There is a car parking area located immediately outside the store which can come in very handy and saves you dragging your new skis or snowboard through the centre of Cowbridge. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and point you in the right direction to all the gear you need to hit the slopes, look good and stay warm. So if your off to the Alps this winter I recommend this store to perches your thermals to your goggles.

My son visited your store yesterday with his aunt to return some unsuitable skiing clothing purchased by his father 6 days ago. You refuse to refund and offered creadit note leaving him no choice but to have to purchase from you. As he walked round the store with his aunt, your member of staff followed them round making it quite obvious that you were watching them and making them uncomfortable. As he went to try on some cloths he noticed he was being followed again. It was then that he felt he was being followed because he was of a mixed race background and you thought he was going to steal something. No one should be bade to feel this way at all especially a boy like mine as he is an intelligent , deciplined, professional sports man with gd morals. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for making a 14yr old boy feel this way. Your shop is one that we will most definitely not return to or recommend.

The shop at McArthur Glen has a good range of jackets, fleeces, salopettes, sun glasses, T Shirts etc... When I was there they were doing a great offer on shoes, in that if you bought one pair at normal price, the second pair was only £5 -not bad! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly so if you are planning a trip to the great outdoors, this is a good place to get kitted out!

You can get coats for half the price like for £50 instead of £100. I think the shop is well laid out sometimes it is hard to tell which are male and which are female coats as they are quite near each other and similar. So make sure you check before you buy them. The shop mainly specialises in coats. This store is one of my husbands favourites he makes us go in there everytime we go to the outlet village. The stock doesn't really change much but I'm still a fan of the shop.
