I had taken my cat to Electric City Animal clinic, for an injured leg. They charged me over $200 for the visit and an antibiotic shot, and quoted me over another $700 for an X-ray and treatment. I didn't have that kind of money! Humane Society recommended Mountain View in Pendleton. They gave Zeena an xray, antibiotic, pain meds, plus anesthesia to work on him, and the visit fee, ALL for under $300! The same would have been over $900 at Electric City. It's nice to know there is a beautiful facility with caring people who don't take advantage of our deep affection for our fur babies! Highly recommend!! read more

Everyone I came across was just cold and jaded feeling--like they were numbed to dealing with the animals. They certainly didn't seem happy. And the place is very, very dirty. Urine caked baseboards, old books and magazines caked in urine and more. I work construction so I'm pretty dirty myself but...well, it could stand to be cleaned, let's put it that way. I can't say they did anything mean or off-putting with handling my dog, but they just kinda treated her like a sack of potatoes--not a dog. Hey, maybe they're greats vets. None of my critiques is related to their ability to safely, humanely, and effectively issue quality care. I just felt I should share my honest impression/experience. Excellent vet! We had paid exorbitant prices for care for our two dogs at another vet in Anderson. A neighbor recommended Mountain View so my wife called and inquired into their prices for the same services. WAY lower!!! I'm talking about 2/3 lower. On a $1500 procedure were saving more than $1000. Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs. But when I can save that sort of money and not give up anything related to quality or level of care... That's a no brainer. The folks at Mountain View are great too. On several occasions, they have suggested changes in medications that are both better for the dogs as well as cheaper for us owners. I think they really care about my pups. Reasonable prices also. I also had them give my dog their annual vaccination. No lines to wait in.

Everyone there is helpful and easy for my dog to be seen. The doctor was concerned and helpful.

We have been taking our pups here since we moved to the area. I will not go to anyone else besides Dr. Hutchinson. She and her staff are great with our wild pack of dogs and Dr. Hutchinson knows each one of them very well without having to ask what their names are. She and her staff treat their animals as if they were their own. They have always been able to get us in a timely manner and have everything we need for a reasonable price. Great vet and very nice employees. Our dog needed a quick rabies shot to be able to be boarded we called the awful people at Clemson Animal Hospital and they told us it would be 2 weeks before they could see us. We called Mt. View and told us just to swing by that day and they would do it for us. We also ended up boarding our three dogs with them for the weekend. Well, finally, I've found my vet for life! Dr. Hutchinson and her staff are the absolute best! When my dog is sick, I can get an appointment the same day. I can go in to the examination room with my dog and never have a long wait. My concerns are heard, they explain their treatment plan that I actually can understand, they don't run unnecessary tests and their pricing is very reasonable. Dr. Hutchison does a great job taking care of our dachshund and Chihuahua mix. She has done cyst removal and teeth cleaning and does an excellent job. We are thankful we go to this vet. We have tried several vets in the area and this is the one we have settled with. Her rates are reasonable and the staff is helpful and very friendly. read more
