We relocated here two years ago with a senior dog. Mountain View was recommended and I could not be more pleased with the competence and care in this practice. Our sweet baby crossed the rainbow bridge last week but if we decide to adopt another, this is our vet of choice. read more

This office offers "Emergency Care Immediate and effective treatment for urgent health issues, ensuring peace of mind for pet owners." Thats from their website. I didnot receive that care this Monday morning, I was told to go to the emergency Vet, even though they know I'm on a fixed income & can't afford it. My dog is 17 & has a UTI, I thought when your vet is open for business you can go there... It wasn't the office staff who refused it was the Vet her self. My dog has been pretty healthy all her life until here lately, & now the Vet I've been using for years won't see her...I feel abandoned. I took her to another vet, they agreed to see her at 2:15 today. I just got a new Dr. for Izzy. Maybe they will be there for me & my dog in the future. read more

I had taken my cat to Electric City Animal clinic, for an injured leg. They charged me over $200 for the visit and an antibiotic shot, and quoted me over another $700 for an X-ray and treatment. I didn't have that kind of money! Humane Society recommended Mountain View in Pendleton. They gave Zeena an xray, antibiotic, pain meds, plus anesthesia to work on him, and the visit fee, ALL for under $300! The same would have been over $900 at Electric City. It's nice to know there is a beautiful facility with caring people who don't take advantage of our deep affection for our fur babies! Highly recommend!! read more

Once again care above expectation. I have a very anxious Pomchi. She is fearful of people and other dogs. MVV handles her with care and with the least amount of stress (for me as well ). So very please!!!! read more

Mountain View Veterinary Services - Veterinarians Near Me - Pendleton, South Carolina

Everyone I came across was just cold and jaded feeling--like they were numbed to dealing with the animals. They certainly didn't seem happy. And the place is very, very dirty. Urine caked baseboards, old books and magazines caked in urine and more. I work construction so I'm pretty dirty myself but...well, it could stand to be cleaned, let's put it that way. I can't say they did anything mean or off-putting with handling my dog, but they just kinda treated her like a sack of potatoes--not a dog. Hey, maybe they're greats vets. None of my critiques is related to their ability to safely, humanely, and effectively issue quality care. I just felt I should share my honest impression/experience. Certainly nothing personal. read more

Excellent vet! We had paid exorbitant prices for care for our two dogs at another vet in Anderson. A neighbor recommended Mountain View so my wife called and inquired into their prices for the same services. WAY lower!!! I'm talking about 2/3 lower. On a $1500 procedure were saving more than $1000. Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs. But when I can save that sort of money and not give up anything related to quality or level of care... That's a no brainer. The folks at Mountain View are great too. On several occasions, they have suggested changes in medications that are both better for the dogs as well as cheaper for us owners. Highly Recommended!!! read more

I think they really care about my pups. Reasonable prices also. I also had them give my dog their annual vaccination. No lines to wait in.

Everyone there is helpful and easy for my dog to be seen. The doctor was concerned and helpful.

We have been taking our pups here since we moved to the area. I will not go to anyone else besides Dr. Hutchinson. She and her staff are great with our wild pack of dogs and Dr. Hutchinson knows each one of them very well without having to ask what their names are. She and her staff treat their animals as if they were their own. They have always been able to get us in a timely manner and have everything we need for a reasonable price. A++ 5 stars and all the things. read more

Service care price and quality are all top notch and the owner and everyone who works there are wonderful.

Looking for an awesome new vet?? This is the one!! I breed Boston Terriers so have quite a few dogs. I've been to my share of vets and don't like when they don't listen and then overcharge me. Well, finally, I've found my vet for life! Dr. Hutchinson and her staff are the absolute best! When my dog is sick, I can get an appointment the same day. I can go in to the examination room with my dog and never have a long wait. My concerns are heard, they explain their treatment plan that I actually can understand, they don't run unnecessary tests and their pricing is very reasonable. They treat my dogs like they were their own and I always have a positive experience!! read more

Cannot say enough about this vet, she is beyond what you get anywhere else. This is a vet that really cares about your animals and makes every effort to help you out. I took a 6oz rescue kitten found under a bush hog at deaths door to her and she was fabulous. Her staff was very nice and I had never been there before. Took a dog a few weeks later they always try to help you. Since then I have sent 2 friends there. My vet for life.. read more

Great vet and very nice employees. Our dog needed a quick rabies shot to be able to be boarded we called the awful people at Clemson Animal Hospital and they told us it would be 2 weeks before they could see us. We called Mt. View and told us just to swing by that day and they would do it for us. We also ended up boarding our three dogs with them for the weekend. The staff is great and very nice and they are our new vet! read more

Dr. Hutchison does a great job taking care of our dachshund and Chihuahua mix. She has done cyst removal and teeth cleaning and does an excellent job. We are thankful we go to this vet.
