It took me almost 7 minutes just to explain my name, and my children's name. Moving on, she explained to me that they had an "infant A room and an infant B room" she explained that the infant A room only had Tuesday and Thursday availability but the B room has full availability. She explained that as for my 3 year old there was complete availability. About 2 minutes after, she then stated that she was confused and that the center DOES NOT serve infants and does not even have any infant rooms and that the youngest room she could start is the "penguin" room and that my 3 year old could he put on a wait list bc the 3 year old room was suddenly full. Im sorry but this woman was a complete IDIOT. How do you not know your school doesn't have certain class rooms? How do you just forget rooms are full after you just said they have complete availability. How are you going to advertise infant care on yelp and not have it? This was so completely unprofessional.

I knew I didn't want to overwhelm her with a big daycare center, especially since she was used to a more intimate environment. So I started looking into home daycares instead. After visiting a few, I found Sunny Start Daycare, and I just knew it was the right fit. The space was super clean, welcoming, and had lots of room to play both inside their converted garage and out in the backyard. It immediately felt like somewhere she could feel safe and comfortable. The transition wasn't easy at first. My daughter was very attached to us and introducing new people into her life was understandably difficult. But Germin and Miriam have been amazing. Their patience, warmth, and gentle approach made all the difference. After just a few weeks, my daughter not only adjusted--she thrived. She now walks into Sunny Start with confidence and excitement, often not even looking back to say goodbye (bittersweet, but the best kind of goodbye). Her vocabulary has exploded, and at just 20 months, she's conversing with us in ways we never expected so soon. It's truly remarkable to witness how much she's grown in such a short time, and I credit so much of that to the nurturing environment that Germin and Miriam have created. If you're looking for a home daycare that blends structure, play, learning, and genuine care, I can't recommend Sunny Start Daycare enough. They've been such a gift to our family during a time of great change, and I'm endlessly grateful for the love and support they show my daughter every single day.
