However, his bookings were too far out for my needs, his location isn't super ideal since a move, and he no longer took my (horrible) insurance. Stephanie came recommended, so I thought I'd give her a try. The office location is closer to my home and logically it just makes more sense. Boy, am I glad I did! Stephanie is easy going, down to earth, kind, understanding, and relatable. Everything I was/am looking for! I was pretty nervous for my first visit - having been given a run around on a 'geriatric' pregnancy and healthy delivery, then postpartum confusing Dx regarding hormones and PCOS - Stephanie was quick, educated, and answered all of my questions. Her office is very comfortable and warm and we instantly connected over thrifting. So why not 5 stars? I only give them 4 stars due to billing. I don't understand why I am always charged my copay, and then my insurance says payment of $0 is due on the EOB. I've brought this up a few times with the front desk and am told it's a system error. I've been doing medical billings for nearly two decades, and this seems very incorrect... but my love for Stephanie runs deeper than this 'system' issue. Either way, I will stay with Stephanie, and cannot recommend her enough. She is a wonderful advocate for her patients.

She was attentive, reviewed all notes from my previous OBGyn in another state, and even took over where she had lead off. Dr. V seemed more like a friend than a doctor and I felt really good about it. End of June 2022, I saw her for my routine care. I had some complaints of breast pain among other things and requested bloodwork. She gave me a blood order and said they would let me know in a few days. My annual was normal which I was very thankful. My bloodwork was another story. She ran a full hormone panel after reviewing my annual bloodwork from PCP. Full hormone panel revealed something wacky, so she asked me to do it again, thinking the lab has tampered with it.... then a third time..... then I was referred to an endo for a full workup. About a week ago, I saw the endo to ran one simple test - a pregnancy test with an ultrasound - revealing that I am 10 weeks pregnant. Shocking to say the least when the last conversations I had had implied things like 'adrenal fatigue' and 'pituitary gland disorder' and other alarming factors. Let alone that this would be my first child at 37 years old. So, to be honest, I started looking around at other OBGyn's that would be more of an advocate for me. This is not something I feel should EVER be overlooked - being a sexual active/monogamous woman in my 30's. I was able to make an appointment with another OBGyn after explaining my situation, they were able to see me next week. Upon requesting my records from UC Health and Dr. V - I received a letter today that they are releasing me as a patient because I am seeking a second opinion. Talk about another SHOCK. I've never met a practice so passive aggressive, it's honestly laughable. I thought that her assistants, Angela specifically, was very sweet and responsive most of the time. But she was only one who ever responded to me. Dr. V never directly did via the portal. My only recommendation if you are a UC Health patient is that YOU HAVE TO BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE. Period. My experience was that, they truly just are so flooded, they are not advocates for you and do not have your best interest and are simply traffic directors. No apologies for the oversight and fear. And thank goodness I do not drink and am not careless or my baby could forever be affected. Should I have taken a test? Sure. But MY DOCTOR should always be my advocate. How truly sad. DO BETTER UC HEALTH AND DR V. Learn from this.

After researching several doctors and reading numerous reviews, I chose Dr. Baiza because of his impressive track record with complex cases and his caring approach. From my arrival at CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital to the end of surgery, everything was outstanding. Dr. Baiza's expertise was clear as he removed 13 fibroids and reconstructed my uterus. He handled my complex procedure with confidence and precision. His skill as a surgeon and Ob-Gyn is clear. I remember before the surgery, Dr. Baiza took the time to come see me. He told me, "Not to worry," which immediately put me at ease. I felt reassured throughout, thanks to his compassion and commitment to care. Recovery has been smooth, and I was up walking within a few days! The surgical team and staff at CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital provided top-notch care, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. A big shoutout to them for their incredible support! I'm also incredibly pleased with how my incision turned out--it's clean and keloid-free, so it's virtually undetectable. Dr. Baiza's attention to aesthetics while ensuring thoroughness with the surgery speaks volumes about his dedication to his patients. If you're considering a procedure like this (abdominal open myomectomy), I can't recommend Dr. Roland Baiza enough. His skill, empathy, and attention to detail have made a significant impact on my healing journey. Thank you, Dr. Baiza, for allowing God to use you to help women. I was feeling pretty hopeless, in pain, and dealing with embarrassing, heavy bleeding, and severe PMDD symptoms. After speaking with Dr. York (he patiently listened while I explained) and discussing the several attempts I have made with a previous Ob/Gyns to solve the debilitating symptoms that affected my home and work life, he agreed a total hysterectomy was a good course. He explained multiple alternatives and helped me weigh the pros and cons. He was compassionate and understanding of everything I've been through while trying other avenues. The surgery went great. He checked on me before and afterwards, and again was patient with all of my questions and concerns. I am now at home recovering, and he has responded to all of my questions within 24 hours in the patient portal. All labs, updates, everything is put in the portal quickly, so I can see all appointment notes and patient instructions. It's sooo convenient. I have never had a better Ob/Gyn. Also, the reviews about the front office staff is surprising. Every time I have communicated with the office staff (through the portal, on the phone, and in person), everyone has been incredibly warm and helpful.... and they have worked with me even with my inconvenient hours as a teacher. If you are looking for an amazing, experienced obgyn who truly cares about his patients and goes out of his way to actively listen and work with his patients to come up with a solution for gyno issues, Dr. York is the guy. It was clear in the appoitment but even more after reading my portal notes, he didn't listen to a single thing I said. Additionally, asked me if I ever wanted a boyfriend and proceeded to give me lecture on the need for birth control "if" I were to get a boyfriend (I'm 28...). The other staff I interacted with were extremely blah, low energy and lack of positive energy made for an off vibe upon arrival and with the check out process, not sure if this is an everyday thing or just an off day. Wouldn't recommend Dr.york to ANY women looking for answers!

She paused then went into action saying that we were about to have a baby! Under her authority and with the grace of a true professional, my daughter was born 15 minutes later and I've never forgotten her kindness. I arrived at my appointment that I had made about 2-3 months prior to be told my appointment would be cancelled due to an emergency and I asked who I would be seeing to be told "I don't know", office manager came out and told me that I could still see Dr.Snyder, but it would be a wait because of the emergency and had at the hospital. That's fine, I understand emergencies happen and was happy to wait. I waited for 2 hours... again.f that's fine. Hit when Dr.Snyder arrived, I heard her from inside the exam room complaining that she hadn't been able to have lunch yet, her staff told her to get a quick bite and she said "I can't, this patient refused to cancel" before coming into my room (not true, I asked who else I could see and and they told me I could still see her and provided no other options), as soon as she came into the room she said "I know you came in for a consult but I haven't had lunch yet so I'm not going to answer any of your questions, I'll send you home with some papers and do your exam"... I waited 2-3 months to have my questions answered about a surgery and she's coming in here and immediately telling me she's not going to answer ANY of them? Nope. She sent me home with an internet printed document with FAQs about the procedure I wanted. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! During my exam she then tried to push a vaccine on me and shamed me for not wanting to have it done. So you can't answer my few questions but you can push a vaccine that has NOTHING to do with my exam or surgery I wanted? So unprofessional and rude. She then completed my exam and before leaving the room said "I want you to understand that emergencies happen and because of that we will have to cancel appointments" I was floored, I told her "I understand that emergencies happen, I did ask if I could see someone else or who else could do my exam and they told me I could still see you" and she just blankly stared at me before saying "yeah, sometimes cancellations happen" and then left. I understand that people can have off days.... But the way I was treated was atrocious. It's not easy as a woman to go in for your yearly exams and then want to have a surgery and have questions only to be told that they aren't going to answer any of them after waiting 2-3 months for this appointment. Dr.Snyder, do better. I hope you never treat another patient like this. These appointments already have many of us feeling so vulnerable and to be treated so rudely, dismissed and shamed for not wanting to take a vaccine that isn't necessary for my lifestyle... I'm floored. I took time off from work for this appointment only to get no answers and to be made to feel less than human.
