It's a safe place for kids to play and is affordable. My daughter found this place and we went there with her two sons at 3:30pm last Wednesday. The place was near empty with just two other young children. The crowds didn't come until after 4pm. I was impressed. There are inflatable bouncing pads. a go-cart track, basketballs and soccer balls, a snack area. There are four massage chairs and a charging table for cellphones for the supervising parents. The attentive, friendly and helpful staff keep the place clean when they aren't busy. My daughter bought two two-hour passes for the boys at $20 each. Colored wristbands show the time the pass expires. They also had to wear grip socks (for purchase) as no shoes are allowed in the play area. The staff waved good-bye to us as we left at 6pm.

I have come here a few times to walk the path that goes north to the Cyr park soccer fields for a 2.25 mile walk out and back. It is well maintained. There are restrooms on either end. The creek right now is dry, but when it runs after heavy rain, the creek will smell of sewage. This part of town is the oldest neighborhood, with tiny lots and chainlink yards. While both parks are well lighted, there are a few dark sections I would be cautious about, but I only come here with my dog anyway. If you are new to town, this is a good start to get to know the town. Walk the path north to Cyr Park and then connect with other multi-use paths.

Worst gym ever sadly…read more.. No one has gym etiquette . No one cleans their stuff and machines , not even the trainers. The same old man have social hour around the machines with no sets and wrong form and make females uncomfortable. One trainer brings her dog doesn't clean her stuff ether and lets the dog walk all over it . I hope there's better gyms in town ....

For those that did not know, the Fort Huachuca Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) built a facility…read morein the summer of 2011 that contains six batting cages. The small adjoining paintball field is closed until they upgrade the perimeter safety netting. The facility provides helmets and all the bats needed for baseball or softball. They have three cages for baseball ranging from slow (45 mph) up to fast (80 mph) pitch. The other cages are for softball with two for slow-pitch and one for fast-pitch (45-50 mph) with clearly marked plates and batters boxes in all six cages. Cost of play is ten balls for $1.00 and they issue tokens to use in the machines. The lighting is very good if you're hitting away after dusk night and the pitching machines are in great shape. The attendant can even vary the speed of the pitches for you and change the height/distance on the slow-pitch if you ask nicely. The slope of the 'field' was built just right so all balls return to the collector to fed back into the pitching machines. All-in-all a very nice facility, actually the only one of its kind in town, that doesn't get enough recognition since it's located on the base. The cages are open for use by the general public and there really hasn't been a lot of waiting to go in and take some cuts at a ball. I know that can all change now that I'm spilling the beans but I don't mind sharing and from all the popcorn I've seen at the downtown ball fields some of yall would benefit from a couple sessions in the batting cages! I'm just sayin...

Katie, at the front desk, could use a little sensitivity training. I approached her on Monday Jan…read more15th to ask about a piece of jewelery I had lost in their women's locker room. After some confusion, she became instantly confrontational saying: "Wait, but should you even be in the women's locker room?" Me: "Yes, that's the one I always use." "But do you have a vagina?" She said, bluntly, for all to hear. I was polite, tried to defuse and answered all her questions to the best of my ability. I was born nonbinary, believe it or not. Yes I have a vagina, also other things though, etc. Then she decided to get her manager after I informed her I didn't care and would use whichever bathroom she wanted me to. Or whichever had the shorter line to make it logical. During my chat with her manager, Katie would occasionally chime in: "We just can't have a dude stand pissin' in the women's room." and other classic anti-trans litanies. Frankly, there aren't any urinals in the women's, and how a person chooses to pee in stalls is solely the business of the occupant. I tuned her out to the best of my ability. The manager then got her husband and he was actually super cool about it. He said to just use whichever bathroom I was more comfortable using. Thank you sir, if you're reading this. About a week later (today), I received a call that my jewelery had been found. I had already decided before I entered that I was going to cash out my juice card and cancel my membership. Katie was the only one working and became quite nasty when I asked for a cancelation. She kept repeating how I was lucky she saved my earring for me, and if I had something to say then I should say it. I responded that I prefer writing, it's less dramatic. Mentally I added, it is also less easy to overhear. I actually tried to spare her in the report to the best of my ability, and I confess that her little verbal jabs and petty comments distracted me enough I forgot to write a couple things on my reason for canceling: Legally, yes I am required to conform to the F symbol on my driver's license. I would also prefer to not be interrogated about my genitalia in public, at a place I have faithfully paid to have use of for over two years. There are much less inflammatory ways to have dealt with that situation. She picked a fight and made it personal when it very much didn't need to be. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and cannot recommend this gym to anyone who expects to be treated like a human rather than an animal. All the best in these trying times, Andy Lullabee

I booked a two-hour Train Trestle & Petroglyph ride for my family for which I received a…read moreconfirmation email and then a reminder email the day before giving vague directions on how to get to the horse area where we would be met by our guide. The email stated that we should arrive 15 minutes early and be prepared to pay cash. When we arrived, the road was not marked in any way and we apparently stayed too far to the left and ended up down the wrong path. Fortunately, Red saw us and came on his ATV and helped us get back on the correct road. Red also contacted the person who was supposed to be giving us the tour who apparently had "looked at the wrong date" so there was no one ready to take us on the tour. Red had a hay truck coming and was going to try to take us on the tour himself, but after over an hour of waiting, we decided not to proceed as we had other activities planned for the day and Red was still unloading the hay. To their credit, Red did try to help and was a very nice person. We were contacted by the company to try to reschedule but we were only in the area for a short period and already had activities scheduled for the rest of our time in AZ. It looks as though they have some interesting plans for this business, but it does not seem to be organized yet. When I called the number, the voice message was from December, talking about being closed for the Holidays and opening in January - so obviously not updated. If you are thinking of using this company, I would recommend that you contact them the day before and speak to someone to be sure they will have a guide there to take your group on the ride. I mistakenly assumed since they had sent me an email that they would be ready.
