The staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They give you your space while you shop and are always happy to answer questions. The last time I went in the fall they had free hot tea waiting for you just inside the door. I always end up finding something to take home, and can circle the store 3 or 4 times and still find something that I had previously overlooked. I've popped in and out of this store for years, and it never disappoints. It's Berkeley Springs, so you are dealing with older buildings that are often large converted Victorian homes. They creak, they lean and they make for small stores packed floor to ceiling with goods. If that's not your thing; do yourself a favor and stop looking at things to do in Berkeley Springs. This is a store full of Himalayan wares. You know how the pizza place smells like pizza, the indo - spice mart smells like curry, the Mexican joint smells like Mexican food, and the head shop smells like incense? Well this store has its own aroma that your schnoz isn't used to suckin' down its breathin' hole. So if you're THAT person; you know the one who gags walking by a Yankee Candle and performs covert ninja operations to pass thru the perfume section of a department store undetected; then this is not the store for you. It's not overwhelming, and it's certainly not bad, it's simply different, and not everyone likes different. Parking is limited since this is on a side street, but hey this is in a walkin' town anyway. It's such a fun little store to explore with a pretty cool staff. If you dig the other specialty shops in Berkeley Springs, you'll definitely dig this place.

They are so lovely and distinct, and we find ourselves buying "star store stuff" for gifts and for ourselves. First photo included: a small star hook that we bought to hang low so our two year old can hang up his jacket himself. Our other favorite purchase is a rustic corner shelf/cabinet. It looks like it was built into our cabin. Other gems: birdhouses (featuring cut out stars, of course!), seasonal knick knacks galore, candles, shelves, larger furniture items, jewelry, and character-filled plaques and signs. I was participating in a quilt hop and had the opportunity to stop here. This was one of my favorite places as they had a lot of completed projects on display. It is a bright, well lit store that shows the items to their best advantage. There was a demonstration for sewing a fabric Christmas Tree. The salesperson was very patient explaining and answering questions. I was able to find a special rotary cutter that I wanted at a decent price. The fabrics are high quality and plenty of varieties; as civil war fabrics, batiks, flannels, etc. Any quilter would like to shop here

Let's just say the run around I got from the Hagerstown outfit was atrocious so I canceled and charged back the full amount in May. I went to Clark's because they sell the same brand. Needless to say no run around, they were true to their word about the delivery and it arrived exactly when they said it would. The two delivery guys were awesome too. The stuff they had to remove for us was very heavy. Clark's will continue to get my business. If I could give them 10 stars I would! .

From mattresses to recliners, appliances and flooring they always provide excellent customer service. Their prices are always in line with the big box stores and they are local if you need anything. No calling a 1-800 number for service and waiting on hold to speak with someone whom has no idea where Berkeley Springs is. From dealing with Mr. Clark 30 years ago to now dealing with his son Scott, I've always had an excellent experience.

If you need some smoke alarms, most of the time they will have some. And have a bunch different hardware, even the whole carpet shelf. And I vintage Polaroid for 40 bucks. and the person the cash was really nice too. I really like how they are using an old building for the original purpose. Hoke E geez is my favorite thrift store I've ever gone to.

Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.
