Appalachian showed up for the job on time, had 4 guys with a 5th that followed, and did the whole job in just over an hour. The entire tree including the trunk was ground to mulch. They appeared to work safely and I was pleased. Tree came down and all was well! Yes I would use them again if I had another tree that needed to be removed. The only reason I didnt put 5 star as they left a quite large pile of mulch. I heard that they normally take that with them. They didnt ask if I wanted it and it could have been shoveled into the truck. In this case it was not an issue though as 2 neighbors in the park took some for their gardens, and I bagged several bags just incase the hole sinks over time as it settles and the wood chips decay. If however you DONT want a big pile of mulch, make sure you discuss that part first.

First off, and…read moreimportant to me, they actually carry insurance, which I would encourage anyone seeking services to require from their contractor. Some might say they have it, Mr. Freeman proved it with a certificate of insurance. His prices were fair, and the job was performed perfectly. From start to finish, the team was professional, courteous, and efficient. I had some pretty big trees overhanging my house and his team did an amazing job of bringing them down with no damage to my home or other landscaping. They showed up on time, worked carefully, and made sure everything was done exactly as I wanted. What really impressed me and ultimately prompted me to write a review (which I very rarely do), is I had a weather issue arise several days later. With nothing more than a text, Mr. Freeman and his crew showed up the very next day and worked tirelessly to remedy the situation all at no additional charge. That's a first-class company. I'd gladly recommend Freeman's Tree Service to anyone needing tree trimming, removal, or general yard care. It's refreshing to work with a company that takes pride in their work and delivers great service.

We picked up the unit on 10/04 in the evening around 4pm and sent him a picture of the unit on the trailer; shortly after we requested the deposit payment of $150.00. Phillip Edwards responded and said he would make the payment in the morning. I've called a few times where he answered and confirmed he would make the payment and at the moment we have not received anything. We picked up the unit in a timely manner and delivered accordingly ensuring it was secured properly and insured during the trip. All we ask for is to honor his word and pay the service that was provided. I'm sure he does not like having to chase someone to make payment for a job he's performed!!!
