This magazine is only published 3 times/year so it's a hot find once a new issue is released. Heart praises women in the community, it provides resources for parenting, health, beauty, dating, careers, etc. It's about positive self improvement. After reading their articles, Heart doesn't make me feel self conscious about who I am or make me feel that I need material items to make me feel better about myself (unlike the goal of a lot of women's magazines out there). It's a great motivator. Since I'm a graphic designer, I have to note that the graphic design is exceptional...not something you would expect from a free publication. My favorite article in the Summer 2007 issue: "{Just Ask Jeff} Love & Sex: a guide to awe, shock and tingly sensations". Somehow this writer summed up most of my experience with love from grade school up to my present life. The only difference was it was told by a man's point of view...if that makes any sense. You might have to read it to understand. Pick one up today!

Don't know what…read morethis means for its future but was sad to see the sign gone from the building we walk by every week to go to the Farmers Market and other sites in our historic neighborhood. It's tough to operate a successful newspaper in a small city. Tougher still to be unique and independent next to a city 5x larger. But it's disappointing to find so little news or interesting writing in our local newspaper. Even the Sunday paper is a thin disappointment. It's not for lack of things happening, or for lack of talent, but for lack of publishing much of what's happening. Timeliness and thoughtfulness are important. Was there a fire by the train station yesterday? If so, what are the ramifications for our city? We now look at social media to find out. The internet has been an obvious challenge to newspapers. Yet it also offers opportunities to gain readers. There are billions of readers open to the next great source of information, if it answers the need for real information and relevance. Many people love NM in general and Las Cruces in particular. Many more could if given reasons. (Like, a competitive daily newspaper.) I wish this paper would reach higher. Offer deeper storytelling through timely reporting, creative layout and photography, diverse columnists, inviting website. I think quality print and virtual news can make more money than ever when people's brains and needs are respected.

Those unfortunate employees are forced to go through a script and I'm filled with frustration. It did not prevent me from cancelling my subscription. I'm not sure anyone wins.

I have used the same quote package for our project signs in 7 states with very little modification for the last 12 years and I have never had so many issues with communication. Since we had a revision from the home office, I rewrote the instructions much more specifically, and they got the colors, layout and lettering correct (which is the only reason I added 2 stars), but not the material on which it was printed. I spoke to them on the phone several times during this process, but when I expressed that the product was NOT what I ordered, I was told that I was wrong. Additionally, we had some aluminum number plates ordered for daily counts. Every other place I have ever ordered from have provided stamped, clean edged finished plates with centered numbers. These plates are bent, not square at the corners, letters are cut off, and looks like they were cut with tin snips. Overpriced for what was provided.

After all of the paper work was filled out and completed. All schedules of my employees were rearranged to meet the scheduled radio interview. Mike Jensen who again is the Director of Sales states that his BOSS OVERWROTE HIM..And now we have to pay between 500 to 600 for the radio interview. Look we just wanted a commercial your sales tactics are horrible. You use the bait and switch technique. Money was not set aside for the radio interview. Look we just wanted a commercial. Now due to your waste of our time. Now we have no commercial nor an over the radio interview. The event were holding for the Teens is this week Sunday December 18,2016. Businesses beware. Teens Beware Hot 103 is a rip off when it comes to business Ethics. Unprofessional company. Mike Jensen Honesty will get you everywhere. Your Company wasted our Companies Time.
