I feel compelled to share my alarming experience with this boarding care facility, as it raises…read moreserious ethical concerns. I discovered that they took advantage of a client with dementia. They changed his Social Security payee without proper justification and repeatedly told him his family was behind on rent, using threats of eviction to manipulate him. After the payee change, they reported him missing to the Sheriff's Department, but months later, I learned from the coroner that he had been admitted to the ER with respiratory failure and unfortunately passed away. Shockingly, the facility did not inform the authorities or the family that he had been found and continued collecting his Social Security payments. To make matters worse, a few weeks after his passing, I received a court summons because the facility was trying to sue me for back rent. I brought all my receipts to court, but the owner pretended not to speak English and dropped the case. It was clear they were exploiting his condition to benefit financially. Even more concerning, the Sheriff's Department reached out to us because they had not been informed about the client's situation. The owner then attempted to close the client's bank account, falsely claiming to be the successor to any remaining funds, which could potentially cover funeral costs. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to proceed with caution. Their actions show a troubling lack of care for vulnerable individuals and their families. Unethical, false imprisonment manipulation and more...

Lots of activities, and chances to get out into the community. The food smelled great as I walked by, and residents seemed happy with it, and with living there. Room sizes vary, and levels of care are adjusted to what you need. Therapy is available, and there are nurses always there. The rooms are nice and homey. The caregiver are very considerate and nice to the patients. My father used to live in different facility but they didn't treat him very nice. My father was so happy that we found Angela's facility. He likes to have conversations with the caregivers and manager. My father felt very comfortable living here and he says it feels like a home. He also says the girls are the sun shine of his day. My father is 95 years old and his health is getting better since he has live in Angela's Care Home. The manager takes a picture of my father and sends it to me every other day, to see my father in the sun light Brightens my day. Sometime the manager teaches my father do some exercises. I feel no worry's and my life has become lot easier, now I feel more comfortable and I can travel and go everywhere, because I have someone taking good care of my father. I appreciate what this facility has given Me and My Father. Angela's Care Home does great job and I strongly recommend Angela's for you family's needs.

My mom had been living in a large assisted living facility in another county. She had been…read moredeclining cognitively since contracting Covid-19 in January 2021. She saw a neuropsychologist and after extensive testing was eventually diagnosed with major neurocognitive disorder (dementia) related to multiple factors. Her facility did not have a memory care unit and my wife and I had previously discussed moving her closer to us in Riverside County. I also wanted mom to live in a facility with a smaller number of residents and higher staff ratios than her large facility. My neighbor's late husband had resided at ICC some years ago and she was always pleased with his care in their memory care unit. After researching and doing some homework, we contacted Luz Rodriguez in ICC's marketing office. We met with Luz , discussed all our concerns and questions about whether ICC would be a good fit for my mom. Luz was wonderful and reassuring. From our initial meeting with her in late June, we assembled the required paperwork and necessary forms. A nurse from ICC went down to my mom's then-facility and assessed her as appropriate for their memory care unit. We moved my mom in on July 17th and met the caregiving staff and nurse assigned to her cottage. House manager Bernetta, LVN Daniel and assistant manager Paulina were all so welcoming and accommodating. Luz also was available to assist on a Saturday, and stayed even though we arrived much later than planned. Nurse Hazzel has also been diligent in communicating with mom's primary care physician about any medication changes and adjustments. Mom has been there about two months now and we couldn't be more pleased. She needs assistance with just about all her activities of daily living and staff are very responsive to her needs. Mom is kept clean and dressed appropriately. She is again getting her hair done regularly and even has polish on her nails! Our communication with staff whenever issues arise is first-rate. My wife and I visit unannounced regularly and are always welcomed and treated with respect. There have been some rough spots and anxious moments for my mom, but these have been handled promptly and professionally. Mom is still adjusting and getting used to this new place, routine and faces, but we remain confident that ICC will continue to meet her needs going forward.

I call my medical center back ask them to fax it to Destiny home, I waited 20 minutes & called them back to see if the received the authorization and believe it or she then told me they don't have staff to cover & was rerouting my authorization back to my pro. All these facilities are so unprofessional unbelievable. Not even my dr will reach out to to assist. BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY THELMA OFFICE MANAGER THAT IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 2 WEEK TO GET A NEW APPROVAL.

The Oasis office staff interviewed us to find out our needs and to match caregiver personalities with my mother's. We immediately felt we could trust them. At first, there were two who weren't good matches, but within about two weeks, Oasis had set us up with three absolutely fantastic caregivers. They are kind, hard-working women, and enjoyable to be around, which is very important since they spend a lot of time with my mother. They help her with tasks around the house and are nearby to be sure she is safe as she goes about her activities. The day caregiver drives her to the grocery store, hair and nail salons, and various other appointments. They also help with baking, watch TV with her in the evening, and have interesting conversations. Overall, they have given her independence and have given the family peace of mind that someone is with her to look out for her health and safety.

They don't even feel you need an explanation as to why they canceled this company deserves every bad review that they receive.
