BUYER BEWARE - PREDATORY SCAM OPERATION…read more This MotoMart location is running a PREDATORY SCAM on customers! WHAT HAPPENED: Purchased under $20 of gas and they placed a MASSIVE $100+ hold on my debit card - over 5 times my actual purchase! When I went inside to address this OUTRAGEOUS policy, the staff was incredibly rude, dismissive, and treated me like I was bothering THEM. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! I've been to hundreds of gas stations and NEVER experienced anything this predatory. Most stations hold $1 or maybe $50 maximum. This location is deliberately tying up customers' money to generate interest or cause overdraft fees. This excessive hold can cause serious problems for working families - overdraft fees, declined transactions for groceries/bills, financial stress when your money is held hostage for days. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Staff showed zero empathy, no willingness to explain their policy, and acted annoyed that I dared question their practices. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! Use ANY other gas station in Evansville. There are dozens of options that won't steal your money or treat you like garbage. Save yourself the financial headache and go literally ANYWHERE else! Location: 6328 E Lloyd Expy, Evansville, IN 47715 (East Lloyd Commons)
