After a couple sessions he mentioned the massage therapist and how it could help with my pain. So I booked an hour with Cathy. She is the sweetest lady I've met and is also very gentle and thorough. I usually like more pressure so I see their other therapist Griff. If you like someone with strong hands Griff is your guy. A few moths go by and life is great. Love my treatment plan, and have no complaints other than the front desk staffer is a bit curt. A few more months go by and I get into a car accident (Sept 2019). This was the worst, because my body was in so much pain. I go to my regularly scheduled massage and am told all my following doctors appointments must be cancelled until I see the doctor for a new initial visit. Okay, not too big of a deal right? WRONG! The next appointment the doctor has available is 3 weeks away! Mind you- I'm in immense pain and am so stiff from the accident. I had a last appointment of the day with Dr. Andrew on the books (previously scheduled) and asked if we can just make that my "new initial visit" appointment. Apparently the new initial appointment visit is a 45 min appointment and my previous booking was only 30. So, you assume I've been seeing Dr. Andrew for over a year now and he just stays the extra 15 mins that day and sees me, right? WRONG AGAIN! I even ask the receptionist to speak with the doctor and explain the predicament to see if he can make this change and help me with the pain I'm in.... nope- answer is no. Well, you can only imagine how upsetting that is. So my adjustments get cancelled for 3 weeks straight until I can see Dr. Andrew for this "new visit". A week and a half later I come in for my normally scheduled massage and am told I cannot see Griff, because I have not done the new patient visit. I'm confused & dying inside because I've been looking forward to this massage for 2 weeks, so I can get some relief from the pain and stiffness I am in. Well this same not so lovely, terrible customer service, front desk staffer tells me I cannot see anyone until this "new visit". What?!? If you knew that 2-weeks ago why did you not tell me that upfront and cancel this appointment, instead of letting me go out of my way to get off early and show up for it!?!? Well at this point I start seeing Emrys (another massage therapist) more and tell him when he is being too hard on me. He is very good a therapeutic masseuse and that is what my body needed. Things are dandy for a few weeks, until I call and have to make some adjustments to my previously scheduled appointments. Found out insurance isn't covering some stuff so I had to cut back on massages and adjustments for the rest of the year. No biggie, cancelled some and re-booked others. Came in today for my end of the day appointment with Emrys and the front desk staffer looks at me and asks why I'm there. I say for my appointment, as she says "we don't have you on the books today". Uhhh what?! I double check my calendar and yep- there it is. She says that all my appointments were cancelled. So I was not going to be seen this week or in two weeks when I had my other appointment I made over the phone. All of this was said with little to no remorse or consideration. Call me crazy, but I was about to lose my mind. I have now been coming here for almost 2 years and am just blown off with a "that's not my fault and those appointments have been booked for someone else" - what?!?! I cannot even believe that this was happening or that it was all being handled so lightly. At this point I don't even know what to do. On the one hand I love the chiropractor and massage therapist, but cannot stand the treatment I receive from the front desk staff.

So after I was called back so they could explain what happened with his visit the dentist was kinda rude about it told me he did not cooperate at all so she couldn't do anything. She then told me we'd have to be referred out to the Jacksonville surgical center because he would need at least 2 or more teeth pulled. Fast forward I went to that appt in Jacksonville, which I would never go back there either. They told me he'd need teeth pulled and for all the rest of his molars to get silver caps. My heart was in my stomach, I couldn't image his teeth could be this bad so I went and got a second opinion from the kids only dentist in Gainesville. They explained everything so well absolutely the best with kids! I was able to go back with him, turns out none of what Trenton or Jacksonville said was true of his teeth he does have a few cavities which is expected in children but not a reason teeth should be pulled. Before you go through with this place and your children, get a second opinion!! Pulling teeth in toddlers can be very traumatizing, unnecessary and could ruin their teeth for life!

Dr. Bambi is wonderful, caring, uses gentle adjustments, and in my case got results FAST. Far exceeded my expectations! I've been receiving chiropractic care as needed since my mid-20s, so am now speaking from 30 years of experience. I know talent when I see it. I'd been limping around in pain for more than 6 months, knowing that I was misaligned, but had yet to find a new practice that I felt entirely comfortable with after moving to Crystal River. I was trying to fix my issues with therapeutic massage and stretch sessions on a bi-weekly to monthly basis, but my therapist and I agreed that they were "bone deep." What finally broke me was my Great Dane--who outweighs me by at least 20 lbs.--stepping into the back of my shoe. I felt something bad click out of place in my right hip/lower back. After that, I had to take handfuls of Advil day and night just to walk around without pain for several weeks. Dr. Bambi reviewed my history, and by sight and touch could tell that my pelvis was *very* misaligned. No need for X-rays, the problem was so clear. After my first Chiro adjustment, I slept through the night and woke up *pain free* for the first time in months! My results are probably not typical, but I speak the truth--no more handfuls of Advil needed to get through my day! I'm writing this part of my review for travelers and/or part time residents who get injured and need quick relief. The Timberlane office staff and onsite massage therapist, Jake, are also very welcoming and caring, and fit me into the schedule very quickly. The practice also takes walk-in patients during certain hours. How does it get any better than this?!? Well, the pricing for services out-of-pocket is extremely reasonable IMO. The office is cozy, clean, with a low key vibe, conveniently located off a main road in a plaza with a large medical practice group. In the same plaza, two doors down, is an excellent restaurant (see review), and next door is a hair/nail salon (which I haven't tried yet as of this writing in 12/25). For locals, it's a great location for a one-stop 1/2 day of self-care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She takes the time to listen and then offers practical and useful advice for pain relief-- taking both a physical and mental approach. Dr. Tracie is so nice and she takes her time in helping relieve my pain in the clinic, explaining everything she is doing and why she's doing it. I do feel so much better for days at a time after I leave there. It's so hard anymore to get medical practitioners to listen; I'm so thankful she does!
