We love 'A Mother's Touch' daycare! My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was three months old. Of course, bringing your child to daycare at such a young age is so emotional and stressful. But when we did our initial walk-through I felt so comfortable with the staff and the environment. My husband and I planned on doing a "trial" period of the first month. Well, our daughter was not only surviving daycare, she was flourishing. She was obviously well cared for everyday and also hitting every milestone. For parents who work 10.5 hour days this is huge. Our daughter is now two years and two months and way surpassing her peers - both socially and educationally. The women that run A Mother's Touch are amazing! They have always treated my daughter like family and it shows - most days she doesn't want to leave! We are always in good communication, even via text, which works great when I'm working, or in meetings, etc. I would highly recommend this daycare if you are looking for an in home facility with safety, care, and love in mind. read more

My daughter(at 13 months old) started attending Mother's Touch this year at the beginning of 2025 and it was the best daycare we could've gone with! My husband and I toured the daycare on a Thursday evening and our daughter didn't want to leave, we started right away! Ms.Shani and Ms.Selena are very patient and kind with my daughter, allowing my husband and I to feel more than comfortable dropping her off at daycare. I'm glad I found A Mothers Touch. Our son has never been in daycare nor in the care of anyone other than close family member. I was scared and not willing to leave our son with someone who I didn't know for a full work day but when we went to tour the daycare before ripping the bandaid off, I was in awe. It was nothing that I would have expected & talking to Shani made me feel at ease. Our son started to run around as soon as we got there to play & I could tell he was going to enjoy it. We had a really rough start with him after day 3, he got sick and stayed home for almost a week & when he returned to daycare he did not want to go back which resulted in him kicking, screaming, and crying. She had one very small room with a couch that had a filthy cover over it with a TV And the room was blocked off with a gate and a back yard with bare minimum. That was it for kids. She told me they spend most their time outside. Not clean, I saw nothing that showed any type of learning. Then, while we were there, 2 boys walked out of the bedrooms. I had asked if there were others who lived there, and she had said yes, her husband and 2-3 kids. (I don't remember 100% how many kids she had). But it was super random bc they come in and out all the time. Very very small. Had the feeling that kids were left in the small room, or outside. Would not recommend at all. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Mather's Touch. We foster infants and twice now they've been able to accommodate us at short notice. We've seen two infants adjust to a routine here very quickly, and thrive developmentally. They are always smiley and happy when picked up, and I've seen them engaged in a number of activities. The daycare is always immaculately clean and well organized, and we always felt that he was not only cared for, but very much loved. I read the one negative review further down, and have to say that is entirely contradictory to our experience. Our children who have been here regularly seem to engage in different activities, and get the opportunity to interact with other children - on my most recent pickup our little one was doing tummy time with another little boy and they were both babbling & laughing with one another, having a jolly good old time! My son has been going to Mother's Touch Daycare for about 8 months now and we love it! Shani is great, and so is Selena. My son is almost always smiling when I drop him off in the morning and when I pick him up at night (unless he's tired/cranky). Shani is very responsive to questions and gives plenty of notice when she will be closed for things like holidays, which I really appreciate. My wife and I feel extremely blessed for choosing a Mother's Touch for our childcare. We recently had our first child and were very anxious about child care. We did our research and looked at over 10 different options. We choose a Mother's Touch because of their Montessori teaching but also the caring atmosphere. Our son started going to Mother's Touch daycare when he was around 11 months. Of course, it was a big stress for all of us, especially keeping in mind that babies in this age already know when mom / dad disappears. Mother's Touch is a great home daycare with small group of children and Shani (the owner) is extremely caring for all the kids but at the same time she does not spoil them. This give you the confidence that you little one is in good hands. Our son started his daycare journey from 3 hours daily, so we transitioned him slowly to a full day. He is 15 months now and I am so happy that we decided to send him there. He is always cheerful when coming back home and truly he needs this time of separation from us and being with other kids to socialize. I also like the idea of organized time (few hours daily) which children have for learning, dancing, playing and also the fact that kids are getting home cooked lunch. My husband and I were lucky enough to stay with my daughter up until she was 9 months. That being said we knew it was going to be hard for her to adjust. This daycare is operated by Mother and daughter but it only seems like one of them stays with the children (the few times I was there one was out doing errands). I was hopeful it would work out (Due to misleading name) but we had to take her out after 2 days. She completely lost her voice from crying. It seemed like they left her in pack and play all day! She was not herself, all lethargic...On the last day when I picked her up she was in pack and play being ignored while the mother was sweping the living room while my daughter was in pack and play crying without a voice. My heart broke, I couldn't believe these people! They said they were training her and pointed at the other infant and said he's easy and not my child. when I got home and checked my baby she had a fever. Also had a ton of food up her nose. Thankfully she's a baby and will never remember the nightmare! read more

My son is 6 months and loves it here! At first I thought he was going to have a hard transition since he had been home with me for the first 4 months. Rukshani and her mom made it so easy, not just for the baby but for me as well. They show him so much love and care. He gets excited when he is getting dropped off. He loves it there, he laughs so much and it's hitting every milestone on time. I'm a first time mom and usually would ask a lot of questions which they are happy to answer and would advise me on certain things, but they will always follow my directions. I have a 1 year old niece who I have been looking for daycare for and I was worried about leaving with anyone who was not family. My niece had an immediate connection with the staff and loves it there. She has a smile on her face when we pull up and never cries when I leave. "Mother's touch day care" truly lives up to its name! My one year old son has been going there for about a month now. Me and my family couldn't have found a better care for our son, the staff is not only caring and loving, they adjust to your baby's schedule and make him or her feel it's their own home. They are very flexible with the timings too. Very professional, respectful and loving staff. My 6 year old also goes there for after care and it's only been a wonderful experience.
