Booked room 146 after a long drive from NJ to Disney, BW across the steet was 229$, this room was 100$. I was by myself so I stayed, flipped mattress and slept on a towel, if wife and daughter were here I would have left! Pick another place if you can! Front desk clerk was super nice! rm 231 dirty no heat or blankets room was unlocked when i got there bed spread had holes in it bathtub was dirty ask for a different room no doing they gave me a cermic heater but it didnt work had to put chair under door handle to feel safe had to sleep in my clothes and coat cockroaches running around room the only good was i could park my semi and trailer in parking lot I would not stay here it needs shut down till issues fixed would of left but time was out on driving further in my truck read more

Booked via phone on 9/28 for a one night stay due to hurricane and no power at my home. Few other options Drove 45 miles to be told that the kind of room I had reserved (2 beds) was unavailable and that they were "sold out". Luckily, the overwhelmed front desk clerk refunded my $100 on a nonrefundable rate. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't end up staying here. From looking at the place $100 would have been way too much to pay. Seedy looking outside with somebody set up doing car detailing in front of room windows and people milling around outside playing loud music. Other places in town looked equally unappealing and WAY overpriced ($154.00/night at the Best Western across the street? No thanks.) Gross - Gross -Gross Stayed here the night of July 31.2021 the lady at the front desk was polite. When we walked in the room it seemed nice BUT did not have a mini fridge to put drinks in. We could live with that so no complaints there! Now for the complaints.... I am attaching Pictures for proof! 1. The shower curtain had dried snot/boogers on it -- can you say disgusting! No special Covid cleaning going on here! 2. The hot water is NOT hot at all, more like having to take a shower in Luke warm water! Not to mention water never fully drains from tub! 3. The toilet wouldn't flush, so to get some toilet paper down took five flushes. -- thank goodness I didn't do number 2! 4. There was black stuff running down the tank of toilet -- again disgusting! 5. We had a non smoking room but the comforter on the bed had several burn holes in it! 6. Had to walk to lobby to get coffee, went at 6:15am and the coffee was burnt tasting and barely warm! They had exit signs that were just barely hanging on as well I will NOT be returning to this place ever again! So disappointing! read more

This motel should be lower than ZERO or a negative! We stayed and requested a non-smoking room , got a "non-smoking" room that reeked of cigarette smoke that you can smell from afar, smoke detector hanging off the wall, mystery stains on walls, broken shower handle bar, dirty grout, TV remote control held by tape, 2 mystery light switches by the door unknown where and how it works, broken bathroom door looks like it's been kicked in, and old furnishings. read more

This motel is nasty as hell I mean it should only be $40 to stay the night they have rat pebbles everywhere the bed linen has burnt hole in them I am visiting for the weekend and this hotel was the closest I wish I would have read the reviews first I went to dollar tree to get bleach and disinfecting I won't EVER stay here again read more

Gross disgusting, dirty , would not return our money , called manager several times and I mean several times . Never called back never received even a penny of our money back .. called corporate office several times also .. no one would do anything , we did stay there because they would not refund money , because my husband took a shower first as soon as we stepped in the door before I saw how gross it was . Not even 1/2 of it . Not only was it dirty bathroom , refrig was gross and microwave was rusted . tree took out our AC unit so we had to get a room in starke Florida for over a week when we checked in on Monday, September 30 the rate was $80 and that is for a microwave and refrigerator in the room.( Weekend rate) $70 on weekdays. Hence we paid $160 Monday for two rooms. And two nights. We changed rooms three times on Monday night. I've been paying $80 a night. Don't have a refrigerator or microwave that work in the room I want what I paid for.went to change rooms and pay today and she says she has too many reservations. . The owner will not compensate anybody for the amount of money that they pay to stay here I don't care how cheap his rates are he has to give people what they pay for and they do not, left the bag of chips sitting on the table in the lobby and somebody picked them up and walked out with them. This is the most awful crackhead hotel in starke Florida. Will NEVER stay here again. Bugs, falling ceilings. Water that won't shut off. And I just threw 60.00 worth of food away cause fridge doesn't work. Terrible. And the owner thinks it's a joke. Because he has the lowest rates! So you don't give people what they pay for. A little paint and cheep laminate flooring didn't make it any better!!!!!!! read more

Worst motel 6.....awful rude, housekeepers....pool, loud with kids diving, People smokin...I paid for 2 nite stay....10 am first housekeepers. 2 Banging on my door if I need towels...what? One person...all nite People around doors up all nite loud smoking. I asked for non smoking Room that didn't happen. I go to pool to read......rude smoking guest Told me to sign in. House keeping comes to pool tells me to sign in at office....I just leave pool......housekeepers again bang on my door at noon. To apologize. I dont open door. Housekeeper calls room 1230 pm to apologize....I say thank u and hang up.....I have traveled all over the world, I'm 48 ...how rude....save ur money...I would depart , but too Tired to drive 4 hours home until morning......so much competition. Whilst a motel 6 isn't what I generally stay in, this out of the way hotel saved us from a night sleeping in our car and I'm grateful. This hotel is not for anyone that is a clean freak. It is what it is. A roof over your head and a bathroom. It's safe as it's right next door to the sheriffs office and the staff are extremely helpful. Very nice ladies at the front desk, Amanda and Michelle. One of the rooms we booked couldn't be opened and we were immediately credited for that room. Even high end hotels make you wait days or weeks for a credit. Our party of 4 had to share a room which wasn't planned but we found the humor in it and was simply thankful for a place to lay our heads. Also, as all hotels were booked up and down 95, motel 6 customer service went out of their way to help us get a room. Thank you! read more

absolutely nasty roaches everywhere floors are sticky. found roaches in the towels the fridge. dead roaches all over the bathroom. the sheets were dirty way over priced for what you get. I'd advise stay far away!!! read more

Just checked in a few minutes ago, and now we are checking out. Please, I beg you, don't stay here. It wasn't but a few minutes before we discovered that there was blood on the floor slightly under the bed and blood dripping down the bedding. When with the alerted the front desk they told us that they couldn't do anything about it until the morning when housekeeping got there. This is blood people! That's a biohazard! The owners, or at least that's who we assume they are did come down to the room but they didn't speak any English, and indicated that they would get us a new sheet., The blood is all over the floor it's all over the bed skirt it's all over the mattress underneath, well I guess the boxspring. Add to that the room smells of urine the bathroom is moldy and when we move the bed it revealed food, dead insects, more blood, and assorted hair and crap. Really, please stay away. We will be alerting the health department in the morning. read more
