This Is the Pool/hit tub area. As you can see they are non existent. But instead, they have a bunch of AC units stacked.

Hotel clerk needs to be a little bit more customer friendly. Once we walked into the room, it looked OK but the mini fridge was very dirty from the top. Sticky substance was all over the top. Maybe housekeeping can do a better job especially areas that are so visible.

A bit disappointed at the setup for this price without fridge provided. Luckily we are here just for the night.

Simple but pricy can be more affordable, items in motel needs updating and give more value to its clients if it wants return business or referral business room for improvement many more towels in the rooms required.

Freaky Manager (Please scroll down and read my comment for more detail)

This motel deserves less than a 0 star, mainly because of the manager!! When we arrived, the door of our room was wide open and all the lights on - and this at 2AM! So the door had been open for more than 6 hours. The day after, when coming back to our room, they had taken all our belongings out, without even informing us about the problem. It finally came out that there wasn't enough credit on the Visa, so we only paid for 1 night instead of 2 - but we had plenty of cash with us so we could have paid easily if they would have informed us. The manager came and asked us to leave, without even letting us look for another hotel. He was totally disrespectful and rude and didn't even dare to have a discussion with us. He was constantly provoking us and acted like a child! He just put us on the street without even caring about what will happen and where we could go, given we are 2 young european women, travelling on their own. NEVER EVER GO THERE - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (MANAGER) OF MY LIFE!!

TERMITES ALL OVER MY FLOOR AND BED!!

Oh mylanta! Been here for almost a week now...its been, uhmmm...eventful. Had a termite infestation in my room today which was totally gross. Well that led to an interaction with the general manager. Holy crap. He came at me SO twisted and flat out rude. He said "in 25 years of hotel management. I've NEVER seen a termite in a room!" I let him in my room and he saw them. He actually picked up the termite (Eww) and gave me this psychotic stink eye glare which was really eerie so I said "yep...termites...in the room..." (Nervous laughter) and he replies "how do you know? Have you ever worked with termites??" Weird. Then he did this visual inspection of the room like he was gonna come up on a meth lab. Sorry dude, I'm not gonna be your new connect. Anyway so I moved to a new room in the 102 degree heat alone. The AC didn't work in that room so moved again...fml. Currently in the new bug free room. Complete with AC. Phew. October 22 follow up: for some bizarre reason (I have nooooo idea why...HA) I'm now forever BANNED from this termite...err motel 6. Hmm...seems speed freak manager (see other reviews where he SPIT in a guests face...wow how is he still employed?) didn't like my candid review. Whatevs, your intervention will be a hoot.

Not a bad hotel place...great price...great size...great location with easy parking. The only thing that I didnt like were the security guards. We had another friend hang out with the possibility of staying over because she was not sober enough to drive home. The security guard consistently threatened us saying he would call the cops if she had not registered her name. SHES DRUNK...not sober...about to pass out!! YOUR GONNA CALL THE COPS ON US JUST CUZ SHES NOT ABLE TO REGISTER HER NAME??? ESPECIALLY ON A TIME ON NEW YEARS?? REALLLY??? we already did the smart thing of not driving...and now we might get the cops called on us?? and then....YOU WANNA FORCE THE ALMOST PASSED OUT LADY TO WAKE UP AND GO REGISTER?? I swear...if you didnt have that security badge on your fake polo...I .....(*well yah you get the point) UNTIL THEN!! ^-^

Seriously, they need a visit from health inspectors. This was just last night.

Seriously, they need a visit from health inspectors. Roaches are running everywhere. Took photos of 2 two them. Plus, they purposely try to check you in late to eat up your stay or shorten your stay. I demanded late check out because they check us in at 4:30pm even though we've been on the property since 12:15pm.

My husband is now spending Monday nights in OC every week for work. After trying a couple of other local hotels, we have chosen the Courtyard. It's perfect for our needs...centrally located, updated, large room, not too big of a hotel, easy parking, Starbucks downstairs in the morning, and best of all a friendly face - Andrew.

Around 3:00 AM, I discovered that the air conditioning in our room was not working. The room was hot, uncomfortable, and completely unsuitable for rest. Given the situation, we went to the front desk to request a room change. Instead of helping, the staff member on duty immediately became rude and confrontational. I calmly explained that she was extremely tired and asked if we could move our belongings in the morning (before 8 AM) rather than in the middle of the night. That's when things escalated. He responded loudly: "You are not supposed to do this. You cannot keep two rooms. That's not how this works." His tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary. I politely asked him to lower his voice, but instead he became even more agitated. He started yelling in the lobby, saying things like, "How could you do this to me? It's only me working today--why would you bring this up right now?" At that point, it felt like he was taking his frustration out on us for simply reporting a problem. As the situation continued to escalate, I told him he needed to control himself and questioned why he was escalating things so far. In response, he said he would call the police to remove us. Let that sink in--paying guests, in the middle of the night, dealing with a broken AC, being yelled at in the lobby and threatened with police involvement. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly shocking. I was exhausted, overheated, and just asking for a reasonable solution. Instead, I met with hostility and public confrontation. Basic service recovery, respect, and professionalism were completely missing here. Instead of being able to rest, we found ourselves awake at 3:38 AM writing this review. What should have been a simple service request turned into an unnecessarily stressful and disruptive experience due to the staff member's unnecessary dramatic attitude in handling the situation.

During an earlier evening walk, I noticed dog feces scattered all over the hallway leading to nearby rooms, but we didn't think much of it at the time. At 4:00 AM, my husband took our dog out for a walk. He was stopped by the staff, who accused our dog of pooping in the 2nd-floor lobby. My husband replied, "No. If we were the type to let our dog poop in the hallway, I wouldn't be waking up at 4:00 AM to walk him just to avoid an accident inside your hotel." The staff countered, "But you are the only guests on the 2nd floor who paid the extra dog fee." My husband then asked, "Did it not cross your mind that someone might have snuck a dog in?" I saw with my own eyes many people bringing their dogs here to seek refuge from the chemical leak without notifying the hotel, and I heard with my own ears another dog on the 2nd floor besides ours. We were among the few honest guests in the entire hotel who actually registered and paid for our pet, yet they singled us out, interrogated my husband, and deeply embarrassed him right in public. Why didn't you check the security cameras or investigate properly before confronting your customers? My husband and I have been awake and absolutely furious since 4:00 AM because of this. We will never return to a place that treats its customers this way!!!

Then they played some thumping music. Their breakfast buffet is pretty good except for the nazi staff who gives a disapproving look as you get food. No personality at all. Parking in the area usually runs $25-$45 a night, and we got free parking. We also had breakfast both days, which I'd easily value around $40 for a family of four. That's already close to $100 in savings, so you're really looking at about $180 for the room itself. You also get a trolley/shuttle to Disneyland, which adds even more convenience. We arrived early in the morning before check-in and were still able to grab breakfast. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff let us check in smoothly, and we got the room later in the afternoon without any issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxury, but well-maintained and exactly what you need after a long Disney day. Location is a big plus -- close enough to walk to Disneyland, which is huge when you have kids and don't want to deal with parking or long shuttles. Breakfast is one of the better continental options. Not a fancy buffet, but solid and convenient before heading out. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff handled early arrival well and made everything easy. Only downside -- I didn't notice an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. You can also hear the trolley at times, especially at night, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I saw this mentioned in earlier reviews and it matched my experience. Overall, once you factor in free parking, breakfast, and the shuttle, it's actually a great value for Disneyland. Clean, easy, and family-friendly. I would come back.
