Limited options on places to stay. Don't recommend this one. Room was ok, small tv, smelled a bit like smoke. Front office staff was extremely rude - shouldn't be making people check in feel like they are inconveniencing you for trying to get to sleep in a bed at night

The "we will leave the light on' took a new meaning last night. The light was not the only thing that was lit. I am extremely sensitive to Marijuana smell. It hit me like a wall when I entered the building to check in. I had to take my room key back twice because it would not open the door. He finally gave me a different room and the key worked. The elderly man never made eye contact with me and did not apologize for the messed up key situation. (I can say that because I am almost 70) When I pulled the covers back on the first bed it looked as if it had been slept in. Not freshly made at all. Attaching photo of the bed. The other bed did look like it had been changed. This was a truly frustrating experience. I will NEVER stay here again. I definitely DO NOT recommend.

We canceled our motel 6 for the next few states and will never be staying with this chain again. They are so dirty and disappointing. My family wouldn't let me take pictures of their room because it was just embarrassing. We will be seeking our money back. There's no reason to have SO MANY HAIRS EVERYWHERE!!!!! The pictures speak for themselves. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful in the sense of getting us another room. He apologized but he couldn't do much and i acknowledge that he made what effort he could, with that being said. NEVER AGAIN

I give it at least a one star for the modern look of the hotel and the counter lady!! Room looked clean and presentable we got into to bed. Our adult daughter was traveling with us so we got a room with two beds, one of the beds seemed ok but the second bed that my wife and I slept on was broken! It cracked, squeaked and made all kind if noises but I said I can deal with the noise because I was tired as I rolled into my bed I kept rolling towards the center the mattress had a caved in center!!! And sunk about a foot!!! I called the front desk and asked for another room and the front counter lady said that they were all sold out. I asked for a refund and the lady said that would be possible. Approximately 10 minutes latter I get a call from a person with an Indian accent telling me that these rooms get rented everyday and that we just have to deal with it and that if I wanted I could leave! I told him that I understand that that rooms are used everyday but that someone needs to inspect the beds and provide maintenance to them since this is what their business is all about renting beds!! He got upset and said that I could stay if I wanted but he was not gonna refund me my money or give me another room since they were sold out!! NOTE; LAST PICTURE IS OF THE OTHER BED THIS ROOM HAS AND ITS OK. If you stay at this hotel beware of room 32 has a broken bed!!!

Upon getting to our room we found what looked to be blood stains on the bed sheets, trash on the floor, and hair in the tub and sink.

This was basically what I expected out of a Motel 6, in a good way. Reasonable price, staff was pleasant, room was fine and clean.

Grabbed a Kleenex tried rubbing it off but it was dried hard. Also upon checking in, Found part of a tortilla chip by the bathroom tub and Cotton swab under the sink on the floor with something on it. Please take note of the price increase of over $150 (You are paying for a swimming pool that is no longer there, and no more gym either, which is completely unfair) I strongly suggest considering other options before Staying here. Price goes up and quality goes down-- go figure.

I had radically altered my lengthy Summer biketour on Ruta Dos from El Paso/Cd. Juarez to…read moreTijuana/West Coast after two good Samaritan truckers gave me/my Doublevision a lift through the rugged Sierra Occidental to Agua Prieta. I knew my tandem recumbent would likely not be able to traverse the long distance of gravel/sand/rebuilding, so I re-entered the USA at Douglas, pedaling Northeast toward I-10/El Paso. Three days later, I pushed my slightly broken Doublevision into the lobby of this very fine hotel. My plan became self-evident: no less than two nights in this exceptionally clean hotel, which happened to be conveniently close to where my Doublevision had become un-cyclable 3-miles/5kms back on the shoulder of I-10 Eastbound. How fortunate I was to have two factors in my favor: downhill and a tailwind. The pleasant staff may have been slightly taken aback at seeing my Doublevision entering, but they permitted me to book a ground floor room, agreeing that my bike was out of the way, tucked into a (big) corner of the lobby. It was just the beginning of an excellent stay. My timing was nearly perfect, as I was practicing the Summertime cycling survival skills of stopping for 3-5 hours most every afternoon, seeking shade or a/c and carrying ample clean, freshwater. Days Inn certainly met those requirements; no surprise that this is my wife's favorite chain for overnighting. Once checked in and initial affairs settled, I collapsed on a most comfortable, firm queen bed for the prescribed rest--but not too long. I revived with a quick dip in the refreshingly cold pool, then went out, across the parking lot to the adjacent Love's Truck Stop. My goal was food, at Subway--or I could have ordered pizza to be delivered--but regardless of my nutritional source, my overnight quarters could not have been better. The excellent restful night was much appreciated; my aging body luxuriated & recovered from the enervating 300miles/500kms pedaling thus far, sucking down voluminous amounts of iced water, my eyes glazed over after watching the news, especially local weather conditions as I fell asleep. One of the conditions for five stars almost any motel I review is that a "free" Brekkie is available to all guests. I was ecstatic to find an extremely satisfying am meal both mornings, which made obtaining that important kickstarter to the day very easy and very convenient. *****!!!!! My second and only whole day here had once focus: make the repair and continue my altered biketour. This was the only downside to this rather expensive shop--I walked a total of 7miles/12kms roundtrip to Lordsburg centre/Second Chance Lumber Yard for the better-than-new replacement parts, not so nice in my Nashbar bicycling sandals! I write that it is a rather expensive shop, but it was worth every penny (and I got a Veteran's & AARP discount, even better!) as I made the repairs without breaking a sweat. I departed the next morning, extremely satisfied and ready to go. Not only does this fine hotel get five big stars, it gets my overwhelming "Wheel of Approval!" Thank you, Days Inn!

Even the flat screen TV is oddly static and fuzz filled, like some kind of wizard found an old boob-tube and flattened it. Staff was friendly, and they were easy to talk to. They don't dress in those typical colored polos or wear suits like I'm used to seeing, very laid back... But for some reason everyone smelled nice. The door to my room had been splashed with coffee and allowed to dry, but the handle had been wiped clean. My room had clean beds and mirrors but dirty carpets, dirty bathroom, dirty microwave, and dirty sink. There were no bugs though so that was good. The wifi didn't work. It's not exactly busy, but it's a lot of work for the staff which did not seem like very many people. I even caught the general manager setting out the breakfast which seems like something a staffer would do, but it speaks to the fact that she's a sincere woman even if the largeness of keeping the entire place great is a bit much for her very light staffing. Despite what it says on Booking/Hotels travel reviews, I did not experience a hot breakfast. There were no proteins and the coffee is not great, but the waffle maker worked very well and made perfect waffles. There's yogurt and tea and juice and milk and cereal of questionable freshness and a toaster for the bagels and bread. I recommend this place because it's super convenient, right across from a decent restaurant, next to a gas station, near the freeway, and catches a pleasant breeze. Just don't expect anything fancy.

For me that's fine as I love the sound of trains, but if you are a light sleeper it would be a real problem as the trains ran during the night. Good for the price. I might stay here again. But there are a lot of motels so I might try another.
