While our room is non-smoking (thankfully- because nothing in the booking site indicated that there were smoking and non smoking rooms), the rooms across the hall are smoking rooms and the entire hallway reeks of both cigarette and marijuana. When I stopped at the desk to advise that someone was smoking she advised that smoking is allowed here and that she believes they may be the last Hampton branded property that allows it- she mentioned complaints on the other floors as well because I had initially suggested we might prefer to move to a non-smoking floor. There apparently isn't one. It's too bad because the location of the property is good, too. She said the policy is "unclear" on pot- so if you're a smoker (herbal or otherwise) this may be a great option for you. If you're sensitive to smoke, I advise booking elsewhere. On the plus side - The pool and fitness facilities are clean and well maintained as is the lobby and our room- no complaints there - and staff is friendly and helpful.

Really decent stay, although a few things could be improved upon…read more We chose this hotel for a 3 night/4 day stay in the area. The good - the location is great. Right off the highway and good places nearby (a Starbucks AND a Dunkin within steps? Heaven!). There's plenty of gas stations and convenience stores too, along with an Aldi and Walmart. The room was decent and well stocked. Staff members were very friendly. Also good, the price. We had a very good deal online, and it was very reasonable. The beds were really comfortable. And the hotel was quiet. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. The not so good - they've been very busy with crews from out of town working on the water tower and turbines, and I'm assuming that's why the breakfast was out of a few items (waffle mix being one). Like another poster mentioned, ants. We didn't have them in our first room, but when there was an issue with our door lock and they moved us, the second room had them. They were all over our bagged snacks. Lastly, if you are there for three nights, you won't get housekeeping service. They apparently do if after your third night. Well our trash was full and we were out of towels, TP and toiletries. So I had to track those down and empty our own trash. Not the end of the world, but not my favorite.

I booked thru Priceline and Ibotta to get a good deal while visiting my mom on Mother's Day. I arrived around nine pm and was greeted nicely and right away. The breakfast area is right in the front lobby. Yes, there's a waffle maker setup up. My bath was hot, my room was clean, and I slept well. I enjoyed my free breakfast. I was surprised to see sausage and eggs provided too. The free coffee machine had a bold option and it was nice and strong. I'd totally stay here again.

You would hope that these would be givens, but with my past experience I've learned they're not. They have an indoor pool which the kids loved and there were a bunch of other families staying there as well. The room was outdated decor wise, but it did have a flat screen, fridge and microwave. My family does not smoke so we got a non smoking room; however, we could smell the smoke from the smoking rooms. Overall this was a good place for our family to spend the night while on our way home.
