Further downstairs are self check outs with only one counter staff member. Long queue fir staff member customers need to have the opportunity fir a face to face. Not only are we being forced to undertake the work of the staff but can forsee staff redundancies. Hiw sad we now have a machine to talk to, a difficult journey to prescriptions.

Downstairs is the make up and perfume section, alongside skincare and medicines. The pharmacy is also on the ground floor and is well staffed and stocked. Upstairs are childrens and babies' toys, clothes, bottles, nappies etc. There is also a large section for gifts, electrical items, swimwear, sun cream and sunglasses. There is a photo section there where they can process your photos and sell you cameras, printers, albums and picture frames.

A few times I just leave it and pick up the next day. There are times when the pharmacist discusses your meds with you right out in the open, although this doesn't overly bother me, if I had a sensitive condition I don't know if I'd be that impressed. Out the back, they also dump huge amounts rubbish and trash which can't be nice for the residents around here. But in the main, efficient service and drugs in stock. Lots of random "tot" in the shop too :)

For such a small pharmacy/chemist Crown seems to sell a bit of everything you would expect from a…read morepharmacy and more - they even have a very big variety of perfumes and aftershaves, and quite regularly have special offers and discounts on them. I have even found it cheaper to buy toiletries in here then in the Tesco a couple of doors down. The service is always quick and the staff are polite and very helpful, even holding the door open for me so I could get my pushchair out.

The pharmacist was really good. She was very patient and she took time to explain what the drugs will do and how i should use it. She told me about the side effect to expect but made me understand that I do not have to worry about it. The other staff who attended to me before passing me on was really good as well. They are like a bunch of well-trained staff. My experience was really pleasant.

Boots the Chemist in South Harrow is a very small shop and offers a very limited range of make up…read moreand toiletries. The shop is mainly used by local people to collect their prescriptions and to pick up the odd items that they might need. However the Pharmacist is excellent and can recommend medicines for you. The store is very tidy and the shelves well stocked. The parking close by is expensive but if you are shopping in the nearby Sainsbury's, the parking is free in their car park for up to 2 hours. It's quite possible to pop along to Boots when you have finished your shopping as long as time permits.
