The music was a bit too loud and rocky (as in rock music) for me. The senior pastor gives excellent sermons which are highly emotional and are delivered in a forceful, almost aggressive manner. The church website has at least one of his sermons available to hear and see on the internet. Pentecostal churches have a particular style that not every churchgoer has been exposed to, and I recommend everyone to visit (just as I recommend that people visit Portugal, Spain, and Italy (etc.), where they'll see things that are quite different from here). The church congregation was in about the top quarter on my scale for friendliness.

Mission We believe God has called us to reach people in Bloomington who have reached a point of urgency and desperation in their life, a point of change, and are ready for the Lord to transform them, their family, and their city for His glory. Transformation is an attraction event. Throughout the New Testament whenever Jesus arrived, lives were changed and the whole city took notice. We know that we can do nothing apart from God, so as our logo demonstrates, we are striving to live in the presence of the Lord so that we and those the Lord brings to Point of Change can daily have a fresh encounter with the cross. As we encounter Jesus, God grows our character and our influence to greater heights. Every day offers a new opportunity to encounter Jesus.
