"You love me! She loves somebody else! That boy over there loves him over there ."…read more Love is the one thing that sets the soul on fire and keeps us together. It's a warm blanket that engulfs us and keeps us warm. We should not have to question whom we are "allowed" to love. Love is love. It's the warmth that you have perhaps once in a lifetime. I have felt the warmth and cuddles of love. When you find that soul, accept it. In whatever form it comes. Find oneself to accept yourself. In this community there is a community and common trust and connection that starts with me and spreads to we. Then it's becomes they. You can. Feel the cares at the door. The moment that one sees the grounds of this building it feels welcoming. Come one and come all. Religious freedom should be a standard for all access and acceptance. Freedom from discrimination and violence. No oppression or anxiety from others. No judgement. Just the freedom to be you and lift your spirits and head high with love in your heart. Life is the personal and perfect choice . We are all a little different and confused. We usually lack the ability to understand and be ourselves. We need like minded individuals to help us understand and navigate our thoughts and emotions. Let love light the beacon. Let love shine through and accept love for others. Understand the meaning behind others abilities to not provide what you need but love them anyways. We can all learn from others and we are only here for a limited time. Let's celebrate the ways we can love and make our way through life. We can all gather and celebrate here. We can raise our spirits and voices in love of the world. For those that need extra support there is always someone to take your hand here. Some times a complete stranger is better for advice. No judgement or anxiety is present . If you need help with anything from a conversation to food one can always find it here. Check out the local community store and space for donations from the local community . Let's continue to connect and help one another. Life is about love and the peace it can create. The warmth of love and all its benefits can soothe and hold you . Finding it and keeping it is the ultimate gift. We deserve to be loved even when we have inadequates that bring unhappiness to others. Someday love will bring ultimate joy and love in all aspects of one's existence and life. Let's create and share that love with all that we meet. Spread some love and light today. For the world needs more of it.

They recently had a beer tasting after the Sunday 5:30 mass, which is excellent. They also have things like spaghetti dinners and theology on tap etc. They have a new deacon that is spearheading reaching out to boston college and community of st. ignatius. I think he's doing very well! I haven't attended the 11am mass, but I've gone many times to the 5:30pm mass. At this mass, the priests and deacons give good sermons, and people attending mass respond and are friendly. They open with greeting people and end with a good song. The music is very good -- they have about a 10 person choir and guitar, piano, harmonica etc. They sometimes have a choir leader with a guitar that looks like a spanish parlour guitar -- the music he leads/sings is really great. By far, after trying so many zombie-Catholic churches in the Boston area -- with people that aren't friendly and don't speak responses in church and priests that are "difficult to appreciate" as my refined southern mother says -- this church is one of the best if you're looking for catholic and community.

When last in Boston, there were renovations being done to the interior. There were no tours or services at the time, but there were windows made available to look in and get a glimpse. I promised myself that when I returned to Boston, that I would visit the Church for a service. The service was beautiful and it was completely packed. I am afraid that during the service, I could not help but take in every detail of the interior. Of course, I didn't feel like I should take any photos at that time (my next visit). Take some time to visit this physical testimony built to God when you are in Boston.

This Episcopalian church is an American architectural gem and National Historical Landmark. You have to pay a $10 entrance fee to view the interior, but it's worth the expense if you enjoy history, art, or architecture. Alternatively, you can skip the interior and visit the Boston Public Library instead (which has no admission fee). Completed in 1877, Trinity Church is an architectural masterpiece of Henry Richardson who pioneered the "Richardsonian Romanesque" style of clay tile roofs, colorful interiors, and stone-faced exteriors with arches. You can see examples of this building design in Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, and Albany, NY. The interior has magnificent stained glass windows and a unique colorful design. One interesting fact from the Self-Guided tour booklet is that Boston's Back Bay was originally a tidal mud flat. So the heavy stone of Trinity Church rests on 4,500 wooden piles, which were pounded through 30 feet of gravel fill, silt, and clay.
