Dr Kron is an excellent diagnostician. I feel very comfortable recommending clients to him and going to him myself. His invisible but invaluable assistant Nan is super nice and helpful as well. Least caring psychiatrist you will ever come across. Don't waste your time or money because all he…read morewants is your money. He will continue to raise rates on you. He accepts anthem but the instant you switch over he forgets to bill your insurance and will bill you out of pocket. When he gets called out for it he offers to use that money already paid for future credit and tries to avoid giving you the refund you deserve. He will then suddenly want to see you more because insurance is more of a pain for him and that helps him cover his costs. In my case, mind you I have a flexible schedule and a whole weekday off, he said he didn't have time. This all coincided with switching to anthem. His rates are very vague varying from low to high complexity and the cost is different for each. He will always charge high complexity no matter what. Please save yourself the headache and go with someone else. He does not make time to return calls and emails between appointments. He is not creative and is a terrible psychopharmacologist. The below is a colleague and seems to be a friend of Kory. I'd try her before Kory she seems to have good reviews.

He actually listens to the patient and asks questions. Most doctors don't have time to ask questions bc they are so focused on their next patient. I put my trust in him completely bc he's made my life better. He actually listens and cares. He doesn't rush through your appointment like many doctors do. He doesn't see $$ signs but rather he sees a human being that needs his help. I have never written a review before but when I read a negative review of him I felt compelled to put this out there. Thank you Dr. Zizmor Ann B.

Dr Zizmor is very knowledgeable & was the first psychiatrist to catch that a medication I had taken for years is contraindicated for another disorder for which I take a Rx. When I looked it up I found a study published in 2022 of 21,000 patients who had increased incidence of my later diagnosis flare when taking this medication I was Rxd for a prior lifelong challenge (anxiety). My research previously led me to new knowledge also that untreated ADHD (reason I started with Dr Z) causes anxiety (makes sense ). The front desk is awful. Dr Zizmor does talk a lot around matters and sometimes seemed to contradict himself, as well as asks me what I want to do, which makes it challenging to have confidence in one's doctor. I. Would ask why I would want x, & he would explain. I realize medications have complex actions & have side effects in some people & not others but he never states that. He did ask for clarification & was willing to discuss issues. They unfortunately see too many patients so are unable to keep track of what we have discussed the entire first hour (felt wasted time that exhausted me) He did not show up to past two video visits and didn't let me know until I had waited online 49 minutes to have front desk let me know he changed the visit & had left the office. They didn't even apologize or offer to reschedule the visit (which I am not!).

He is usually available for urgent needs, which do come up. But he has no receptionist nor does he work in a clinic where someone else can help. So on those rare occasions when he is away from communication devices, or scheduled back-to-back, then he is absolutely not available. This happened to me once over the past ten years seeing him, and it is what happens when you work with a human being instead of an institution. All in all, I feel lucky to have him as my doctor. So I give him a five star rating based on years and years of experience with him and others before him.

Her professionalism is inspirational. She is up to date on her field and it's obvious that she is highly respected in the mental health community. I have never spoken with anyone who had such a consistently high level of insight and the ability to deliver those insights directly and tactfully. I have even been somewhat hesitant to leave a review because her schedule is already very full although that never seemed to get in the way of her ability to give personalized attention.
